I have this one. Hates it on initial opening. Still don't love it. Thought about gifting it but aim holding onto it for that special occasion. I have it and Oud Satin for formal occasions.

Contra for you and Royal Latin are my favorite. The black and silver are ok. I'm surprised at your experience with Royal Latin. Mine is 9 months old and smooth in opening and dry down and 90% Layton. I hope just needs maceration to get better.

I have Contra For You and Men Only Intense but do you think that the Layton one could actually be an inspiration of Layton Exclusive because of the medicinal vibe coming from oud. I have Boss Bottled Oud Saffron and I get a little of a medicinal vibe from it although I love it regardless

I came across the two darker bottles at a Marshals when visiting family a couple weeks ago. Sines they are not in a box I was able to smell them. One wasn’t bad and I was thinking to get it however I already had three bottles in my hand. Those 2”3 bottles were Vanilla Potion, Pistachio Praline and Strawberry Icing. All from the same house. My daughter loves vanilla fragrances and I could pass up the other two for 16$ each. Plus they all smelt good to me. Great video on these 4 options.

So this one is special to me, because "Bani" is a fragrance inspired by the city called Bani, in the Dominican Republic, I worked in that town for a few years, and met my wife there. if you notice my thumbnail, those are Mangoes, which Bani is considered the Mango capitol of the Island, I volunteered doing reports for the mango Expos they did there. I am back in the US now. So I ordered the discovery set, and have tried every one except Bani, I have been waiting to wear that for a special occasion, which is coming up in a couple weeks. the quality of the sample sets I have tried so far have been very good. and although this is a niche brand, I think their prices are very affordable.

its a good scent but i do not get guava, maybe guava lead. i get a cool under the trees with a breeze green vibe and some sweetness like a vanilla that sparkles or adds that fizzy feel. it lasts on clothes but is a skin scent for me and does not project

Hi Jose He's one for you I bought a 100ml bottle of Stronger With You Absolutely by Giorgio Armani. For £75 or in $95 The batch code says it was made in February 2024. But I'm really disappointed as doesn't last on my skin for 3 hours then it's just very faint smell. Maybe needs to Macerate. So I've put it away in a draw until winter. Main issue for me is thee pretty poor performance: projection is inexistant and longevity 1h max. BDC EDT does not have very good performance for me but Citrus and Ginger is much worse. Get Missoni parfum instead if you want decent performance. A bit more expansive than the dossier, 70% close to BDC but the best performer of the 3 on me. 4:15

I have owned this for about a week. I love it. Perfect for the lady that doesn’t want florals and fruit in her fragrance. I see this as herbal, earthy, subtly spicy, creamy and semi-sweet. Like a Chai Tea. It makes me feel confident and secure when I wear it!

I got signature for $10 for full presentation at Burlington about 4-5 years ago. Gave it to my dad because I wasn’t ever reaching for it. My dad likes it but my mom doesn’t. They both really like the was CDNIM smells on his though and I gave that to him 3 years ago

Ocean Blue with its powderness reminds of a cozy cashmere candle aromatherapy, lux laundry and barbershop creme at the same time. Fragrantica people say it's great for sheets and linens which I'm sure can help to improve one's laundry sessions imho. The scent is almost identical to English Laundry Signature for him aka English Laundry Arrogant and Sergio Tacchini Pure Black (matte black $15 Eros looking bottle). And they share more than only scent DNA on a rack store shelf. Blackstone, English Laundry and Sergio Tacchini are all made in the USA with only 3 ingredients: Water, Alcohol Denat. and Fragrance. Is some fragrance company produces the juice and distributes it for different brands? It happens with many other consumer products such as jewelry, apparel, soap, automotive components and purified bottled water. Makes me wonder if that's possible in the fragrance world and which one of the three (if any) would be a clear winner in longevity.

Some say their Matte Black is a clone of Terre D'Hermes. I test drove it from Marshalls to Macy's for comparison and yes, almost 1:1. It's very peppery and earthy. Can be layered with Cuba Black deo.

Bought this one on Saturday, wore it for the 1st time today, Monday. sprayed it on at 7 am, sprayed my shirt and neck. needless to say, I filled the room (s) with this, people could smell it coming into the building. at the end of the day I changed, put on my gym clothes, and went to the gym, yep as my body warmed up I was projecting that nice warm vanilla, I am sure other could smell me when they walked by. went home, and did some yard work, got all sweaty, yep I could still smell this 12 hours after application off my skin ! so I categorize this as beast mode. knowing how Lattafas are, I suspect this will get sweeter and stronger over time.

Good review! One thing I noticed - the note breakdown of X Men is the exact same as Black Afgano by Nasomatto. They might have actually cloned that - but put it in a bottle that looks like Clive Christian X for Men.
