I’ve tested the Blackstone Sandalwood and love the scent but I’ve also heard from several postings that the performance on their fragrances is very poor. What has your experience been?

Some say their Matte Black is a clone of Terre D'Hermes. I test drove it from Marshalls to Macy's for comparison and yes, almost 1:1. It's very peppery and earthy. Can be layered with Cuba Black deo.

Ocean Blue with its powderness reminds of a cozy cashmere candle aromatherapy, lux laundry and barbershop creme at the same time. Fragrantica people say it's great for sheets and linens which I'm sure can help to improve one's laundry sessions imho. The scent is almost identical to English Laundry Signature for him aka English Laundry Arrogant and Sergio Tacchini Pure Black (matte black $15 Eros looking bottle). And they share more than only scent DNA on a rack store shelf. Blackstone, English Laundry and Sergio Tacchini are all made in the USA with only 3 ingredients: Water, Alcohol Denat. and Fragrance. Is some fragrance company produces the juice and distributes it for different brands? It happens with many other consumer products such as jewelry, apparel, soap, automotive components and purified bottled water. Makes me wonder if that's possible in the fragrance world and which one of the three (if any) would be a clear winner in longevity.

Thanks for the review Jose. I saw the crafted notes too. There’s at least two. I want to say the other one I saw was called “gin” something. Didn’t grab it but def caught my eye.
