This looks awesome ! you know my Friend and I (+some other guys) are making game in climate of old 70s railway. And we are currently looking for more talent, Gamplay is pretty standard combination of payload-capture the point mechanics You and your crewmen are being deliverymen, and your job is to transport a cargo through demon infested cursed land. We have some awesome art, and ready models, as well as custom animations. (might be a cool thing to drop into portfolio as well !) If this sounds interesting let me know.

This was a very fast test so I did some reverse engineering to get it working. My goal was to see how it looks and feels in an environment that is not a basic test level. I will look more into this system in the near future to find better ways to handle that.

It is and I think that kind of movement is not realistic for most of the games. So many things that could go wrong and lead to injuries. I think the actual motion matching tech is promising but it will look boring if everyone is using the same animation dataset.

Kiitos! 5.4 tuki löytyy jo nyt, mutta en valitettavasti omista tällä hetkellä VR laitteistoa joten on vaikea sanoa miten se suoriutuu. Tuskin kovinkaan helposti onnistuu. Olen parhaani mukaan optimoinut eri osa-alueita, mutta VR:n vaatima sulava 90+ fps keskivertoraudalla voi olla vaikea ilman kovia uhrauksia UE5:sen featureista. Nanite ja Lumen on isossa roolissa tässä paketissa, mutta UE:sta löytyy tietenkin tuki generoiduille fallback malleille ja säätämällä saa valaistuksen näyttämään kohtuulliselta ilman Lumenia. En tiedä onko vieläkin se käytäntö, että VR:n kanssa UE:ssa pitäisi käyttää forward rendaajaa joka voi osoittautua ongelmalliseksi dynaamisen valaistuksen kanssa ympäristössä jossa on paljon shadow castereita ja valaistuksen beikkaus taas tuottaa omat ongelmansa suurien instanssoitujen komponenttien kohdilla.

This just shows how to implement the vehicle possession logic in a simple way so it's possible to create something similar for other custom player blueprints. The actual pack will contain logic and driving animations so character is able to rotate steering wheel. That part is more complicated but the pack documentation goes more in-depth and customers can look the ExamplePlayer to see the actual implementation.

exactly the kind of resource kit i need in my projects cant wait for this one, you got some incredible talent some of my favorite packs across the board for medieval and sci fi.. as I'm getting into more sci fi stuff your kits have transformed my projects with not just the immaculate scenery and environment assets bunt crisp polished functionalities like the surface colony drone and the flight/space scene mechanics from space frontier are insane - and a bit beyond my wheel house at this point, they feel like getting dropped into a top tier AAA title and presented in a way I can incorpora..te and customize for my own stuff so you making these available for us is very much appreciated.. and oh man if you keep adding more biomes like you mentioned this'll be a treasure trove

Hi and thanks for getting the pack! Building lights (window material) are linked to the BP_EnvironmentController so windows will get brightner when the day is turning into night. Could you please tell me in which program you did the plant modelling. I understand that Substance painter & designer were used for texturing. But modelling was done in Unreal Engine (using some plugins) or another application was used ?

I used Blender for modeling. I modeled hi-poly models there and then I did the texturing in Substance Painter and Designer. I then modeled the game ready versions in Blender and exported them into Unreal.

@@KimmoKaunela Kimmo, I hope you get time to answer, if sci-fi buildings will be in new pack or if there is reason there were dropped for this pack? :) I thought we were getting sci-fi colony. I like sci-fi jungle as well, just that it would be more interesting to have those buildings...

@@UnchartedWorlds I understand. I wanted to split this into modules so people can get the one they like and the price is lower that way. It's possible to mix them and add more modules in the future. Jungle biome is the first one, colony will be second etc.. It takes me a long time to make these. It took 10 months to get to this point but with this module approach I can release more content faster. My plan is to make a bundle at some point in the future when I have all of the modules done.

Thanks! First I modeled hi-poly ivy models, baked them down into low poly cards, made a library of different ivy meshes out of them, created some scattering blueprints in Unreal Engine that helps to add those meshes on buildings and such.

@@biswajittripathy2786 That looks like an issue with the Chaos Vehicle system. By default, UE5 disables Chaos Vehicle Plugin and that will then cause those issues. You can try to enable that Chaos vehicle plugin in the Plugin window (Edit > Plugins > Vehicles, enable ChaosVehiclesPlugin) and restart the editor again.

Yes, this project contains lots of blueprints that can generate diffrent results and automate lots of things. Roads are using the Landscape spline system and bridges are using my custom spline logic.

It's optimized but because it's using Unreal Engine 5 features, it will require that your system is powerful enough to run Lumen and VSM.
