The best version of this song hands down. One of the only songs I can define as truly magical. I mean, there’s a dude brooming for crying out loud.

I lost my wife at 25. Ioved her more than anything in the world and it's so tempting to become angry and bitter. I love this song because its brings the love up past everything else and keeps me going.

Just like an old friend Kinder than expected That Cadillac came and gave our girl a ride Loss has no end It binds to our connection And we don't speak of it, we don't even try If you could help me to share the trouble that you've got burning in you, then you can help me And in our time together Her memory will ever shine like golden embers in the night I miss the old hymns when she used to sing The sparrows spread their mortal wings Now they've all lighted with the silence of strings Like notes on the pages, she breathed life into all things If you could help me to share the trouble that you've got burning in you, then you can help me And in our time together Her memory will ever shine like golden embers in the night Just like an old friend Reach out to me Bathe me in the light of understanding And try to help me to share the trouble that you've got burning in you, then you can help me And in our time together Her memory will ever shine like golden embers in the night Source: Musixmatch Songwriters: Andrew Marlin

I loved all the liberties everyone had in making this arrangement possible - - - - one of the best covers. Applause to all band members, and everyone else on the set, like the cameraman, sound, lighting, make-up, and we can't forget "PICK-UP", THE JANITOR, the guy with the broom. :::: RICHARD ON THE RADIO. c20-24inkRWBEE

Kenneth we are from Charlotte , my baby sister died with brain tumor at 42 , taking that next step into the unknown is frightening but we all will face it once our bodies wear out and are used up, then our souls are our vehicles ! Pray to JESUS ! GOD said no one enters heaven without knowing his son JESUS first ! We may not talk to him today but someday we all will talk to him and will be judged ! AMEN .

Her voice is so gorgeous and light and it’s when you hear it. It just touches you in a different way all of you sound wonderful as a group and everything you’re amazing and incredible but the young lady singing when she does step in something about her voice is different. It’s special.
