I think Burti's crash is arguably the worst one. 300 kph to full stop in a very short distance. Incredibly lucky he walked away.

Fangio ranks number 1 in my opinion. Not only has he been able to push the car beyond the limits compared to any other F1 driver, but he is also the most stoic F1 champion. A humbleness he carries in the paddock is impossible to find in today's climate. He's the true representative of what a champion should be.
