I somehow like this purchase and how it sits on top of my display cabinet.
I never intend to use it as an RC car, unless you ask you me for a full review in the comment section.
But should you buy an RC car instead of a more expensive Minichamps version? Let's find out.

I recently had the exact same idea and came to the same conclusion as you have. These are extremely overlooked and underrated as display items. I was surprised how many cars were out there and how easy and inexpensive they are. Plus, if you get tired of looking at them you can have some fun playing with them. q

I was thinking the same, this looks pretty good and less cheaper than minichamps and those brands alike. Plus it moves eh!

Are the 1/12 scales more detailed than the 1/18 scales? I also ended up ordering a 1/12 Mercedes F1 RC. Excellent value! Now I"m on the fence about the Ferrari one, but the matte color didn't look quite as nice as the Mercedes one.

Should be a tiny bit more detailed but then again they are plastic. Mercedes RC, imo, still great value.

@@loosewheelnutcouk I’ve compared the Mercedes and Ferrari on different KZfaq videos. The color and the details on the Mercedes just looks way better!
