Chalk line down the middle through the centre of the holes same again across each hole then mark the walls before overboarding then once boarded use the wall marks the chalk line over the boards to get your exact hole centres you probably already know this just though id pass it on just incase

Yes..tidy job and wired correctly, no single insulation showing outside of junction box, but should have done a quick test on existing😊 circuit to make sure you have correct polarity and a good earth conection. Leave the last light in chain disconnected so you can carry out continuity tests R1, R2 , Zs test and RCD trip times test for Minor Works Cert that needs issuing for addition to lighting circuit, once testing is done connect last light

@user-DANWALKER10663 күн бұрын
@@reno_with_us yes they are good saves so much mess! Handy tools! Keep up the good work. Considering you’re not a sparky you put more effort into that job with making sure you drill the holes in the centre of the joist and yes good for you. Good to see someone who tries and puts effort in! Every one has different ways of doing It. I can see why you hacked more of the ceiling out to get the drill in but you could have drilled multiple holes with the hole saw and DADE too just a tip…good you over boarded saves time!

mate do you mind posting links to the fittings and pipe you used/would recommend? Also why not use copper pipe connections like your other video for this particular radiator change? Cheers

Nice video…to ensure correct amount of solder the thickness of the pipework is how much solder you need per joint so 15mm pipe you need about 15mm of solder for a joint this will help with no leaks as you’ve applied right amount of solder & not too much either

Really good job! Only suggestion I would have is next time use wall ties into your existing walls either side of the new breeze block wall. I see you added ties into your external wall, it’s good practice to put ties to the left and right of your new wall every 2 blocks into the mortar.
