Why do they have to change things that work. I had the old ball style for 27 years and never had a problem, got a new toilet with that new set up and 3 years in and I'm already having problems.

The city worked on the water main in front of my house. They turned off the water then turned it on again. All this crap came out of our faucets. Then our toilet started to continually intake water. I searched online high and low on how to fix but found nothing. Then I saw this video by accident. Same set up as mine. Everything was simple and made sense. Went right to the bathroom and tried the fix and it worked! Its Jan 2023 and this video is still effective! Thank you

Thanks, there was a random-ass piece of plastic wedged in the internals of mine. Who tf would put that there??? I took it out and exercised the mechanism a bit and it started working again

13 years later, and this video is still useful. I though I had broke my toilet after installing a bidet. Turns out that little water level thing was stuck. I know the creator will probably never see this, but I’m so grateful!
