You don't need to install 10 lag bolts ,no one does that one after the other, Not even when building decking

woo hoo I just bought one of these after fighting to drill pilot holes in two by four wood with my basic drill - getting it tomorrow and wow looks good - thanks for the video!

Thanks for this! Good to see a review which shows low end speed applications, as used for knock down fittings, for example. I like the idea of an impact drill that can pilot holes in wood at high speed, and deal with finer slower speed applications. Time to upgrade!

How do you manage to keep the bit attached to the drill ? I just received mine today and I was very disapointed to see the drill is not magnetic :(

Used it to demo a large Bedford stone fireplace that had a thousand bricks inside, and it did the job well and is still working kzfaq.infoUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS . It took abuse above and beyond what it would endure in a shop environment (grit and dust, watery compressed air from a portable compressor, a few drops from roof height) and still works great. I kept it oiled and drained the compressor often but that's all the "care" it received, the rest was just hard relentless chiseling for a few days (we cleaned the mortar off the stones and bricks too) and it performed admirably. For less than $50 it was a great bargain. Electric demo hammers start at around $200 and the ones at that price point have mixed reviews; a rental of a contractor-grade unit locally was over $100/day and I couldn't get the job done in less than 3 days minimum (occupied residence so had to be careful and clean up as I went) so a relatively inexpensive air chisel turned out to be the perfect solution.I wrote a longer review about this tool before, with pictures and everything but Amazon wouldn't publish it for some vague, computer-issued reason. But take my word for it, this was a massive, 2-flued/two story (basement and ground floor and 6' above the roof) fireplace and it generated an incredible amount of rubble and this chisel did the whole demo, I didn't swing a hammer once.

I purchased a used one as the piece is a bit pricey, but the machine kzfaq.infoUgkxG6fbm3cHBd7CNTjk5D-dwYe9c9tCB9ZN has surpassed my expectations. We sand small parts by hand often, sized around 1"x1/2," and specifically look for a piece that's designed to be vertical. The motor has plenty of torque and great speed settings. The only inconvenience I had is that the disk measures 5" where we trim 6" stick-and-sand disks down easily by mounting it then cutting with a box cutter.

Upgraded from an older 18v kit. kzfaq.infoUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv I independently chose the drill and impact tool, before I came across the kit.I like the 3 speed impact gun. It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.

You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice kzfaq.infoUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

Much better than the assembly instruction on the manual. DeWalt always makes the manual hard to read. (Like diagrams separate from the texts.)

Why do you have it on setting 4 you should have it on setting 6 to get the highest amount of speed and torque.

Built it wrong..😅 the middle should be inline so that the bars are all the same so you can cut smaller logs.

The least amount of vibration in any orbital sander I have ever used. The dust collection bag is easy to remove and put back on-a turn to the right to remove,a turn to the left to put back on.I recommend this orbital sander to anyone whether pro or the average diy’er.

Depending on what you're doing the impact is good / bad I have it as a cabinet maker and instead I use a 12v impact all the time because this is way too quick / powerful for most delicate things , it'll undo wheel bolts on my car nice and easy (about 115nm) but trying to delicately make a cabinet it's awful , I'd go with a cheap DeWalt if you want good 18v that'll take the abuse and 12v Bosch
