Great video! Thank you! Incredibly thorough and well documented. I would like to ask: How do you smooth the edges after you cut? I'm just starting to explore cutting stainless steel .4mm with shears. I haven't started yet. I want to make the letter "L" about 8 inches tall but I want it to look nice!

What rpm do you recommend for use on the rotary tools for each of the cutting disks shown? It’s like I’m always too slow, or too fast. I don’t get a cut and the disk just jumps around.

@@Skiman__ The safe and correct answer is the manufacturer recommended speed. Personally, I always go at full speed.

0:19 so many questions about the plexiglass… I thought if you cut fast then the plexiglass will be more prone to chipping and cracking? What blade is this? I thought the more teeth the better but I seem to have trouble finding small blades with lots of teeth. Can you cut plexiglass vertically like you did with the wood? I kind of have a project that needs me to do that right now…
@Yonatan247 күн бұрын
@@tylerl4472 I suppose if you push through the cut too quickly, it's more likely to crack, likely with thinner material. It's a Diablo blade, I linked it in the description. It's fantastic, great for plywood as well, except for the fact I warped mine a bit so I can't use it with a straight edge. Do you mean to do a plunge cut? What are you trying to do?
