I'm still referencing this video 15 years and almost two editions later. "I'm a monster, wraar" and "i'm a spokesgnome for fey rites" are gonna be with me forever. Thank you, 4th edition. People never gave you the love you deserved.

One of the weirdest things I've ever seen playing DnD almost thirty years is how gnomes went from being something almost no one played to one of the most popular race options.

The introduction of the Artificer class probably had a lot to do with that. Rock Gnomes and Artificers go together like peanut butter and jelly.

I remember these being funnier. Now they're just a reminder of my poor decision to buy 4th edition without researching it. Thank the gods 5th came along. 4th was... Well, I don't wanna think about the horrors I suffered playing it.
