I always felt like his name should have been Nashton. Having the last name of Nygma for a character who will become The Riddler is just.. silly in my opinion

The cops literally suck in this. Like here Ed Nygma likes a girl. Is he missing cues? Absolutely. But she still likes him around and they know it so they abuse him.

This character is amazing, Jekyll and Hyde as are basically all the villains in the show but this one captures me most, when his mr Hyde awakens he does everything he can to keep it from ever going near anyone despite what they think of him

Nygma is one of my favorite characters on the show. The magnificent actor has embodied an equally brilliant Riddler. But all these stories I've watched so many times when a tough guy mocks a quiet and meek person on the basis of the idea that nothing threatens him and he can commit violence with impunity. But these guys are blind, they play Russian roulette and don't understand it. Quiet people are not always weak and meek, but much more often they have total control over their aggression, and they do not allow the negative to come out, and it accumulates, everything is deeply suppressed and when it reaches a critical mass it will simply explode with acts of violence. Impudent tough guys simply do not understand that they can be a trigger and play with fire, and then they make such surprised faces when they were stabbed 11 times with a knife. What did they expect? If they are blind and do not see the huge dark "shadow" of some people.....So presumptuous. I know, this is just a show, but in real life it is all around.

It’s funny to me how the GCPD always treated Edward as an outcast and always bullied him. Then when he becomes a villain they’re all surprise and blame him for his transformation.
