EA killed this franchise. Used to be able to spend hours playing NHL games, NHL 13 was the last one I could do that. Now It feels like a chore to play NHL games at all. I only play because its free for Gamepass though 22 might be my last. I was never a huge fan of be a pro in NHL games, the Conversations make me loathe it. My first experience was with Madden and the NHL version just feels like a lazy imitation

And so I wait and then i, guess you could say, I save abuse until I get the offer from the team I want, the wild. I with they would give you more than 2 fucking contracts though in free agency. Like Jesus fuck, I'm in my 3rd season on bap, I have almost 500 points in 3 seasons on all star difficulty and I only get 2 contracts? How the hell does that work? If this was the real NHL and someone was 3 seasons into their career and had almost 500 points, almost every fucking team would try to sign then to a HUGE contract.

Unfortunately the breakaway/penalty shot glitch is not “new”. It was around since the 3 day early access when I first witnessed it. Your version is actually rather legitimate compared to the original and ongoing glitch. The tried and true original glitch can be done with any player class and even with traits that put shot accuracy in the 60’s. The reason I say your video is showing a more legitimate goal is because there is significantly more room for human error especially with a player class with lower shot accuracy. 3v3 in World of Chel is so damaged from the version I’m speaking of that I’ve went as far as contacting EA pleading for a patch even though I knew it would accomplish nothing. I’ve nearly perfected other moves for breakaways and penalty shots but there is rng and human error that go along with attempting to score more creative goals.. I’ve refused to glitch so many times and dinged the post or even pegged the knob of the goalies stick only to have someone take a penalty and wind up losing to the opposing team winning the game let’s say 5 to 4 in OT because they go for the guaranteed method and even though it’s lacks any imagination or excitement I can’t really blame them... it’s just too easy and will secure a win or at the very least pad your stats. The glitch is so simple to master that you could literally play 100 games on and alt account and regardless of how many penalty shots you get you can achieve 100% on your PS attempts. I am not exaggerating when I say this because half way through the version I’m talking about, the path you take to the net alters how the AI behaves so strongly that you could drop your controller half way through and all you’d have to do is make a minor adjustment in order to still score assuming you were skating down the path for the glitch goal. If you want to “appear” incredibly skilled then use a dangler, perform as many impressive dekes as you want as you subtly make your way over to the correct side of the hash marks depending on whether you’re right or left handed and score every time. Backhand top corner, through the legs, one hand tucks.. they will all go in as long as you understand how easily you can manipulate the AI the moment your skates get anywhere close the outside of the hashmarks. Ps. There is another exploit/glitch where you barely even have to move in order to make the AI goalie butterfly so far over that maybe only half of the goalies leg will be anywhere close to covering the net.. Since about 90% of their body is beyond the outside of the post that you might as well play the game with your goalie pulled if you’re facing someone that knows this exploit/glitch. Luckily it’s quite rare to come across someone that understands this one as it can even be done while a defender is all over them..
