Especially when you read it, the dialogue is just terrible and jarring to read. Animations not matching with the dialogue, angry coach when the word bubble is words of encouragement. It's bizarre and tedious

ESPECIALLY in the 1st season!!! They should change it and make it more or less likability rather than a couple of hundred either gained or lost, every other day you sim. 5 times per game… 😆 Drives me nuts too.

i’m prob late but it depends if you do bad in sim you will go back to the start of the team and work ur way up to the nhl so it js depends if you do good or not

i trained every sunday even on the off season. Its way better in the off season. Got my speed to 90 midway through my first season. I sim 2 periods and play the 3rd. Unless im down by a lot after the first. Or sim the game if we win easily. I play 20 min periods. So i get more shifts in. Spent my traits on speed to get my 90 speed asap. I blow by defenders often. Working on my agility and acc. Now. Theyre low mid 80's. Bumped my endurance with my remaining trait points. Will work on faceoffs and deking after playoffs. Since be a pro won't let you play center in your first season. Doesnt seem ideal to work on it early if im not utilizing faceoffs. Its a good plan. I'm sticking with my team to get captain in my 2nd season. If you get traded early in your first. You have to wait another year before you get captain. Until you do a full season. Regardless if you played 99% of the games with your new team and set records. Thats ea for you

EA killed this franchise. Used to be able to spend hours playing NHL games, NHL 13 was the last one I could do that. Now It feels like a chore to play NHL games at all. I only play because its free for Gamepass though 22 might be my last. I was never a huge fan of be a pro in NHL games, the Conversations make me loathe it. My first experience was with Madden and the NHL version just feels like a lazy imitation

First nhl game I’ve ever played, sad to say I already think this game series is ass because of how many god damn cutscenes there are, nobody gives a shit about teamate likability or brand stuff, conversations are totally useless and just take up your time

If you could get your hands on NHL 12 and 13, while dated, those are the last two that didn’t have these bonehead conversations … those were the days man, NHL12 was my favorite of them all
