Cara, don’t let curiosity get you with the new Patrick Ta foundation. 1. It’s $68 - a luxury price point for “makeup artist” makeup that tends to lean towards editorial rather than practical 2. His cream compact foundation was poorly reviewed by most 3. Patrick Ta is just coming off a huge L with that flypaper highlighter duo 4. You don’t even wear foundation like that in the warmer months 5. The LYS at $28 sounds a lot better to me 6. You just got the NYX serum concealer which is amazing for all over the face 7. There aren’t even reviews up yet. Don’t be the guinea pig and spend a whole bunch of money on who knows what. 8. How many open foundations that you already own are you working through right now? 🩶🩶🩶

What I like most about your channel is that you simply love the makeup in your collection. I feel like many channels lately come across as feeling apologetic or guilty about enjoying what they have. I can't pick a favorite look!

I like this palette, but I wish it had one or two deeper shades. I don't mind reaching into another palette, but it would be convenient. Cuz I'm lazy. I was actually thinking about putting together a Z-Palette of singles to just leave on my desk at all times. Like just a few really light inner corner and Blending out shades and a few shades that would work universally as a deepening shades (like a black, a deep brown, a deep red, forest green, and a deep blue... something like that. Then it's there for my many palettes that are just missing one or two lol. Really I'm trying to find a way to get use it if my singles, but it feels like a good idea. 😂 Eta and a really dark burnt orange. 😂

So from what I found out on the website, Viserart started with their Neutral Mattes Pro Palette, 25yrs ago, the one in plastic with 2g pan sizes. This new palette of it, is in new recycable packaging, which I'm assuming they'll be changing all of their pro palettes into. So then all of their palettes will have similar packaging. 😊 I'll stick with my petite version, but it sort of makes sense.

That Milani lip oil looks pretty but I don't want the taste of cherry/vanilla on my lips.

Only excited for milani and maybe nyx. Never shopped 21 days but maybe I'll do it for kvd blushes in split pan..

I don't really watch luxury makeup channels, so it might be that [if you watch those]. Higher end makeup is a little less hit and miss, but I have duds and products that make my skin health worse (acne) from every price point. Overall, the quality is lower at the drugstore. That said, it has improved enough that you can have a beautiful, high-end looking makeup that is longwearing and with great colors I'm happy to say. The Revlon full cover foundation is stunning for event makeup, super longwearing for example. Rivals high end. The Juvias Place liquid blushes last all day, it's amazing. Can't go back to anything else now 😂. But there's lots and lots of meh products along with the gems.

The NYX palettes can be really good, but not all of them are created equal unfortunately.
