Hi! Would you like to share who is the author of those red letters with high contrast strokes at 11:58 ? Links or SM handles maybe?
@TorontoPenCompany2 ай бұрын
The idea for the layout was inspired by Louis Lemoine's work. I don't remember how I came up with the red letters though - maybe just playing around.

Totally stoked to play with this 3-in-1 brass folded pen nib I got directly from Salmon while at this year's 2023 Scriptus Pen show! I swatch from 5ml sample bottles, guess I'll need to buy myself the narrow brass folded pens as well :0)

I LOVE YOUR INSTRUCTION. I have a problem making all of these complex curves. I love your vidieo set up. How can I make videos of my work to Share to you or other instructors? I really love the detail in which you explain everything. I have been trying to learn this stuff, but it is slow going At times. Did it take you a lot of time to learn this? Keep up the good work, we really appreciate all you good help in teaching. Mr. Bo

This is very instructive. I like how you break it down into steps and explain everything. I have taken courses that do not cover these details which Causes problems. I was wondering which nib you use, and ink is very good. Very Helpful, Bo.

I'm not sure but it was most likely common bond paper. Trying these pens out on a variety of papers with different textures is part of the fun.

Do you offer a combination Architect grind for a Bold to Medium reverse writer?
@mariatriesart83892 жыл бұрын
Thank you kindly for this video, it is helpful in understanding these two specialty nib grinds. After Christmas I will be sending you my vintage Sheaffer Targa Tortuoise Lacque fountain pen with 14kt gold inlaid nib which I dropped as a 17 year old and damaged the nib. It hasn't been used for 35 years except until recently when I started collecting and educating myself. The nib needs restoring, and there is a chip on the lacquer on the barrel and a scratch just under the top of the clip both showing a yellow colour beneath...What is your process? How do I send my pen to you for restoring the nib and chip/ scratch? I was referred to you by all in the fountain pen community.

I was watching your video earlier about your specialty nob grinds, the Architect , Italic and their versions, it was a great help in understanding them. , Thank you for that video. You mentioned in this video that your lessons would be available on "The wet canvas," is that a youtube channel???
