Weaken the small support walls with holes. How are you going to keep the pipes from freezing so close to the out side wall. They don't even do that in trailer house or campers. Were do you get 60s abs pipe. Why not pvc dwv?

As a tec student one of the things we did in competition is build ultra light campers. I and friend build a pickup camper so light, two men could lift it out. And it slept 5. No bathroom but sink stove oven icebox water tank heater propane . No hot water tank It is insulated with 2 inch styrofoam, aluminum framing and most inside outside walls and roof. Wind became a problem trying to lift it out of pickup. Yours seems to me maybe an over kill. How heavy are you at this point?

I like that you tell about the products and everything like that instead of just showing how to install them. So many people. You think you're going to get to watch a video to learn and understand more about the products and what's the best choice but you don't get that you get mostly. This is how you install it and if you do get somebody who's telling you something about the products it's extremely vague. I've been trying to figure out for an electric stove doing a exhaust fan that actually pulls the air out of the house. One that's good for a tiny home Aunt. It's just crazy

Thanks for all of the great videos ~Curious how much the trailer naturally compresses with the weight of the tiny home on it if at all. I'm wondering if I have the freedom to go over my max height by 1" for part of a skylight curb and can rely on the fact that the weight of the tiny home on the trailer will compress the leaf springs by that amount. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

I like the trim detail, but am curious why you decided to use Vycor flashing tape? Doesn't the bitumen base react poorly with Tyvek? I also just don't love how much less sticky Vyvor is than other modern flashing tapes, especially the acrylic and butyl options.

Have you framed before. No king studs or header at windows . Do you realize that it will go thru a 3.5 earthquake going down the road. You need headers and web plates Need a t band on the stud walls for support. i see so many structural efficiencies

Great video, covers everything I needed - except one "tiny" detail. I am doing a faux board-and-batten style using ACX plywood and then battens. Would I use furring vertical wood furring strips or vertical Cor-a-vent? Keep making these videos and a big thank you!

How fitting! He's making a plumbing video and his tool "box" is a plastic tub! The Tool tub is when you know you're a real plumber! Haha All jokes aside, this video helped me plan for what I'm going to do for my mini home!

I think your 24 inch on center studs would have given plenty of strength for a tiny house because the span across the roof is so short

Hey do you think all the extra blocking between floor joists sort of negates the benefits of using 24" o.c. spacing?

Hi, thanks for the tutorial. Really helpful as I am planning to add similar hinges to an existing coffee table. I do have a couple of challenges and I hope you have some good suggestions to address them. 1. The coffee table is made of thin plywood/MDF boards. 2. The coffee table top is like a chest. Fabric hinges that are easy to separate. However it’s a box lid that sits on top of the box How do I mark the drill holes and what precautions and preparations do I need to make to ensure the hinges don’t splinter the thin coffee table wood. Thanks

Thank you! You mentioned "a much more expensive style" of hinge. Can you describe what type of hinge that would be and perhaps where to look for it? Would it fix the racking issue by opening from one end? Thankl you again

The 2x4s above your windows and doors should be spun vertically. Add a 1/2 piece of foam insulation between to make up thickness of the wall studs and have a thermal break.

Excellent video and very nice work Brian. May I please ask you a question about hinges? I'm looking for what I think is called a bench seat hinge. A hinge that allows you to access an under-seat storage compartment, these double-articulated hinge arms are designed to move the seat top forward slightly as it lifts for clearance against a padded backrest. Would you know where I might find these? Thank you

Excellent!!! Extremely helpful - thank you for sharing. Quick question regarding the plywood subflooring: It would seem that the subfloor is not secured at the perimeter, floating on the XPS foam insulation. I understand that XPS is very strong in compression, so no worries there. But I wonder if you have experienced any deflection, while walking on the Maple flooring along the exterior walls? Thanks again.
