The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) issues Transportation Charter Permit (TCP) numbers to ground transportation businesses. You can apply for a TCP number through the CPUC. This is just for California each state has their own department, so you have to do your research online for commercial fleet licensing.

A nice break in the mid afternoon is important for me. If I don't get it, those around me can easily drain me mentally, I tend to eat junk and I work less effectively. When I visited Mexico City with my mom years ago, the afternoon closure seemed strange to me also, but I get it now.

I agree that main thing is to listen to one’s body and emotions. Rigid discipline is not necessarily beneficial There is also something such as momentum. Which can go into different directions. So it is something to watch also. But ultimately yes one knows better. You sounded pretty upset. So I guess someone has been trying to make you get up earlier than comfortable for you at this time maybe 🤪

Dave's Run is easy in the sense that there are no real obstacles besides a few small rocks, but some would consider it difficult because of the near 45-degree steepness. Because this is Mammoth, it is a single black but most places would consider it double although I did not find it very difficult.
