Hi Ethan, I think this is something you needed to do. Having a sense of community and belonging is important too. I think that you guys hadn’t gelled in a 8yrs can mean something…Even though it was a hard decision and took a lot of courage, don’t force the relationship…..Enjoy your Journey🙏🏽

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I passed on my first try today after freaking out for a long time 😂 i couldn’t have done it without your video. I had 100 up until the end because of the speed increase zone 😅 still passed with an 87!

Hi!I'm from Kazakhstan and I live in Mokpo with my family. I understand you and I agree with you about Jeollado😊
It's funny that I also remember watching your old video in the beginning many years ago. That was back in the States. Now I am in 거제. And now I am thinking about expat-ing in Pattaya. I travel (looking for that perfect place) so I don't have to travel. I am clueless.

Expectation of a perfect place forever is probably non existent. I think just finding the right place for now is the expectation you should have and it might be a great place forever :)

I guess they invest the 30k and that's how you get the apartment rent free with the 30k returned at the end. Initially I heard 30k deposit and wondered what they were smoking.

Took this video last January. Me and Mayu are no longer together but I already edited this video and already and I had to share it as it was my most memorable day in Kyoto. So beautiful. Haven't uploaded many videos... I still love to travel but I feel that many of my viewers are only interested in Bangkok Content so not sure anymore about the direction I'll take. Let me know if you enjoy these kinds of travel vlogs below and maybe I'll do more of them

Hey Ethan, wanted to share some thoughts. I found your videos during covid when I was dreaming of making a big life change. At 30 years old I felt a strong urge to mix up my boring life. I found your Thailand videos and watched almost all of them and was blown away by the life you made for yourself. Hearing your story about how you sold everything and just made the move was mind-blowing to someone in my position. And while I never made the move to Thailand myself, your videos did give me the courage to move away from my home town just a year after. I'll be transparent and say I'm one of your viewers who prefers Thailand content. You made Thailand feel obtainable. You made it easy to visualize myself in your shoes. Hanging out with Mayu in that cozy apartment, having amazing day trips, trying new foods, going on night adventures? That felt like the dream and you were so great at capturing it. Even watching you clock in for english teaching felt like something to strive towards. Own a home, find a great partner to share it with, and let the rest sort itself out (if only). You know, I still find myself coming back to each and every video you made (sometimes watching them to help me fall asleep!) I truly feel you have some of the best youtube content among all the other Thailand vloggers, especially when you see what passes for content now. It feels like everyone releases a "cost of living" or condo tour video and it's just them talking on their Iphone in a poorly lit room with no mic or script. Or a creepy video of some guy filming half naked people on a beach for 50 minutes and the video thumbnail is some poor girl in a bikini completely unaware. Very little effort and it racks up thousands of views, easy. I think you have a knack for videography and it definitely shows in your work. Not many youtubers can do what you do and I sincerely believe your channel is a hidden gem. It's a huge shame coming from your other video and hearing about your struggles with purpose (Ikigai). From what I've gathered, it sounds to me that you enjoy the content creation, you enjoy the purpose, but money unfortunately just isn't there with youtube. Leaving Thailand for Korea just made sense. At any rate, I'd like to say thank you for the videos throughout the years. Korea is a beautiful place and I do hope to make it there one day.

Haven´t we all been there. Too much alcohol is a bitch. It once took me over three hours to crawl 200 meter from a party to my home. I heard the ambulance guys talking to me a one point, but I never saw them. Couldn´t open my eyes.

to open a business in Austria costs about 35,000, which you don't even keep in your account, but invest in the business. and in Thailand you own 49% ... so it's a lot to invest 66,000 for 49%
