I bought this keyboard and I don't know what crackhead garbage version I bought but it was the mushiest keyboard I have ever used, and it uses btc dome with slider, the keyboard itself is also the worst built keyboard I have ever seen, the stab retainer broke, some of the keycaps didn't fit after I took them off, one keycaps broke, and one of the feet broke after 2 minutes, seriously what did I buy because it is nothing like you said when talking about it

10:18 id also argue the amount of spund dampening packed into the keyboard is part of the difference, the "bassy" sound i assume you're referring to would be considered "hollow"

Excellent video, mate! Got my Q1 HE a few days ago. Same style as yours. Looks great! I Love everything about this keyboard EXCEPT the hot-swappable switches don't wanna be swapped. Can't believe how easily you popped off that switch. Mine won't budge at all.

Still have two of them. Both have the fitted nylon storage bags. Had to have a power supply repair done on the first one, and it conked out again about a year or two later; It can probably still be repaired. The second one, I got off of eBay. It came with a gigantic box of software that I still have. There must be several dozen complete applications, along with dozens of books and discs.

Medical advisory: Even brief exposure to this game can result in chronic overactivation of ones "just one more go" gland :-) Not just fiendish puzzle gameplay either, the graphics/animation are impressive. Very fun and thanks for this weeks trio of videos.

This is the first (and probably only) comment I've ever made on KZfaq. This is my favorite game of all time, though I played it on Atari 8-bit back in the day, which was definitely better and actually earlier than this version... Thank you so much for bringing this forward; I truly loved every minute of it. More people should be aware of amazing games like this with such great replayability. Also, you're terrible. Haha. ;)

I really feel like you ran into the wrong end of QMK and are loudly proclaiming how shit it is, unjustly. Sure, tinkering around in the files and doing the initial setup sucks if you're not used to it, but once you're set up once, you can use VIA or Vial for remapping and adjustment. If you end up with some absolutely flawless setup that's perfect for you, you just save it somewhere and can redo the setup loads faster in the future. The only things I ended up using QMK for were initial setup, configuring debounce, and then flashing. Once it was up, I remapped in VIA or Vial, and when it was *perfect*, I saved the layout, converted it to QMK's JSON format, and saved. If I screw up my keyboard somehow, it's literally a one-liner to restore it.
