There is something about this person that I do not find genuine. It seems like he is selling utopian ideas that has never been observed in any work environment. I think it would be nice to brainstorm with toys, puppets and bricks ... but is seems that sticky notes and white boards works just as well. I do think he has some good points there but focusing on construction of imaginary things are pointless when you can do same thing with your product by using pen and a paper. I honestly think that these guys are more concerned to make profit from companies who organize their inspirational talks rather than providing an actual insights on creativity.

Hello @gulzila. Thank you for taking your time to watch the video and for writing your comment. You are indeed right - I do make profit helping companies become more innovative by using creative tools. Also the companies that recruit me do become more profitable as a result. Furthermore, the employees who use playfulness and creativity to a greater extent at work - do profit because their work environment becomes more pleasant as a result. However, I do not agree with your statement that it would be utopian. I would argue that it is context-specific. In some workplaces indeed introducing playfulness would be next to impossible. Flying a plane, operating a patient or handling heavy machinery at a construction site - not a joking matter. The teams that thrive on innovation win from playfulness quite a bit. What about your own experience - what do you work on and what is your personal experience regarding innovating? Best, Marko

Brilliant! Lego must've made a bundle selling super expensive Lego sets & training courses to people who run business workshops.

The audio on this old video really needs to be redone. The volume is too low and you sound too far from the mic. A lapel microphone would have been a better choice. (Otherwise, place a directional microphone above your head just outside the camera view.)
