I tried this today, it worked fairly well, I got 2 kills and was in the process of getting a third when the first guy I killed, apparently upset at having his vehicle Granata Perforante 75/32'd came back with a Hellcat and, at an alarming rate of speed slammed into the building next to me depositing 3000 pounds of high explosive on top of my tank in the process. Reacting poorly to this my tank spontaneously disassembled itself and scattered itself over a wide area. Overall, 9/10.

Thank you for these. I'm trying get better with my type 61 and knowing where to go to set up descent side shots can be a great help. My biggest problem is not being able to play maps I want to play enough to get to know them really well.

I wish this map had some more clusters of trees to make CAS less of a trivial i win strategy and make CAS players actually work for those kills a bit more by forcing them to spot less obvious targets. Otherwise i'm one of those few people who like this map and wish i would get this more often than samey one-trick pony pretty much pure CQC-oriented maps. I find this one of those rare well designed maps, Campania/Italy and co. like other 'i go to the edge of the map and spawncamp from there' sorts of maps should take notes. I don't get why you all think this map is a spawncamper's paradise since the areas are well-separated in the middle, maybe this could be avoided by always rolling the bigger version of this map? If the map is secured by one team even at those distances i would say that team won the match, it would be unfair on smaller maps ofc. where you don't even get to respawn a second time as you would start from a huge advantage if your team isn't good, bigger maps would alleviate that issue. I kind of wish there was also another game mode on this map where you could run out of fuel but you could hold fuel depots at the back-middle of the map (so somewhere a bit further back from those parts where the closest point is placed on 3 cap dominations for example)on several sniper spots so that sort of gameplay would be valid too without being forced to CQC all the time. This could evolve to become a more realistic game mode where arty could behave more like arty too. But this should be a different category such as Assault and no one would be forced to play it. The Pradesh map could be in the same rotation, maybe after a bit of an overhaul-some areas could also cover more distance on that map, the bigger Poland map would be good as well, it's not perfect but it's good enough. And the bigger Normandy map could have player controlled Naval batteries as arty to go further in the concept of combined arms oriented battles similar to the old Battlefield games, they would also run out of fuel and thus would have to keep their distance from the thick of the battle-they would never be able to get in your face is the idea behind this and this would also be a good balancing factor.

I just tend to use these types of vehicles mainly purely for spotting, only ever peeking out when everyone who can get a shot at me seems distracted. That also works with the other ATGM-armed light vehicle, the Zachlam Tager with those really slow but effective ATGM-s and spotting. Most of those light tanks that fill the same niche tend to have horrible stock characteristic but are a lot less annoying to play than anything heavier at this br. range, at least in the German tech tree. Another example of this is the M41, German version or any other-but the German version even starts with an APCR round that's useless until you upgrade your stock vehicle so it can actually hit something with it without the Stormtrooper aim modifier. And the Swedish light tanks with the wobble turrets, even the PT-76-s got better characteristics. You can't get fucked over by the matchmaking if you go with the expectation that you will only spot and do nothing else. I know it's a bad attitude when it comes to actually winning the match but you got to be cautious and look for opportunities with something like this one, but the opponents still make mistakes.

You need to carry HE for bmps and the leopard 1 mantlet. The apds will go thru small vehicles and the he will over pressure the leopard mantlet when it is hull down and you can’t hit the glacis In an up tier a leopard 2 is a problem. You can’t do anything from the front except take out its barrel. Even from the side it is difficult. Helos revenge CAS is the worst problem

i think the reason why they aren't good is because the gap between the tiger/panther and the panzer 3-4 is 2 BR unlike any other gaps between tier 2 and 3. so unlike other nations, German players just don't get enough time to develop skill because of the massive gap. its kinda like an elementary schooler was forced to learn high school grade math

Idk, i play Is-1 and its my most loved tank so far, it has swift firing gun, decend armour and less experienced players will suffer to make dent in you at all (plus if you wiggle your turret) Also imo it has great mobility, better than tiger H also it has superior armour to tiger (the gun is weaker tho) (Another thing: it turret has weird volumetric crap and i once ate a 88mm shell at point blank to side without being damaged... Russian bias i suppose😂)
