The hard pipe bolted to the rear of the turbo outlet is the pressure side of the ccv system. The rubber hose that goes into the front is the "vacuum" side of the ccv. But keeping a light vacuum on the crankcase it does help to keep seals from blowing and leaking

Making me want to get rid of my Cummins! 😈 Glad to see you get your son out there, I have to drag mine outside unless it’s his dirtbike because he’s not allowed to ride until he cleans and maintenances it. My wife has taught everything from special education to gifted and some of her favorite students had autism. They are extremely smart and have huge hearts. Coming from experience, your entire under carriage and rear brakes will be soaked with oil in 5000 miles. I Put stainless steel 'wool' inside the ccv aluminum housing (in between the fittings with the small holes). cut way down on the oil. Trust me, its a lot. 2024 l5p with the VSE CCV reroute. (spelabs is a replica part)

I capped off the horn tube inlet from my CCV a few months ago when I installed the banks air horn. I was planning on installing the VSE at the same time but I stripped one of my screws on the CCV so I just rerouted the CCV holes to the bottom of the truck, right around the same area as the video. I didn’t have any noticeable oil but I did have a funky smell. I finally installed the VSE two days ago, how much oil usage have you noticed in between oil changes?

@@Justme-bz8ig I change oil at 5k. I tow a lot. I noticed about 1/4 quart on the dipstick before I put the stainless wool in. I now have a Ryco 360k filtered catch. it catches about 1/8 - 1/4 quart. No way in hell I am putting that plumbed back into my horn. Heh... I just installed the banks turbo inlet horn, too. Went with the WCfab full intake though.

Just picked up a 03 f350 6.0. Should have warched your video first. Most major components are good but the bed webbing is rotted in some spots. Needs a #5 injector most likely, maybe rear main seal, suspension seems a bit clapped out (hard to pin point issues). Feels likena wheel bearing but getting no play when jacked up. All that and that whistle still puts a smile on my face. Just gotta take it 1 problem at a time.

Is that engine stand using just a harbor freight setup and are you bolting it to just the engine mount bolts? Idk why I can’t mine to fit on anything. Any pics you could send me of your setup?
