While they may not be so adamant to admit it, the only reason the Destiny trio succeeded where they failed, is because they accepted for better or for worse, darkness kept them and the worlds connected to each other. The Wayfinder trio can't bring themselves to admit such, constantly beating up a teen with dark pre-dispositions, instead of trying to understand where he's coming from, or that his master is not the best. And look where that got all of them.

I think luxury was a key lade wielder who chose when he died to go into another heart. And that heart could be in quadratium. But his nobody was running around hence why he can be in both places

my insane theory is that sora is forgetting riku (he never mentions how yozora looks like riku when he meets him but does think it in toy box) and the reason why is bc the part of his heart that's about riku (idk how else to describe this) is in yozora and thats why he looks like riku. originally he looks more like noctis, with black hair and maybe both eyes being red like noctis has in some of the versus xiii commericals. the one blue eye is from riku, and his outft is very clearly similar to riku's one in kh3, his original outfit was more similar to noctis's why would this even happen you ask? i believe the MoM's plan is to weaken sora, as he's his biggest threat. think about how angry sora got in CoM once he started to forget kairi. the same thing could be happening now but with riku, with maybe yozora replacing riku in his memories. this also goes along with the sora and riku parallels with yozora and the nameless star's. i also believe she's called sora, which furthers these paralells. the MoM brainwashes sora and replaces riku in his memories with yozora, and the MoM maniuplates yozora to believe nameless star/his sora has become our sora. considering yozora is the hero in his own story, i believe the MoM also sees yozora as a threat too, and wants to weaken him as well. also remember how in the toy story world all of the characters thought sora WAS yozora? wouldnt that make more sense if a part of sora was inside yozora? back to sora falling to darkness though, i think this is something that nomura has been planning even disregarding this theory. in an interview nomura was asked what sora's rage form exactly is, and he said that it's sora when he's enranged. like that about that for a second. when sora is enranged, he turns into this feral beast that acts like an animal and is quite literally COVERED in darkness, he looks similar to a heartless. isn't that kind of strange? what nomura said implies that not only is rage form canon, but that it's not the leftover darkness from when he was a heartless like he said was anti-form in kh2, but specifically that he gets like that when he's ENRAGED (sora needs a snickers bar!). to me this is a strong sign that sora will fall to darkness, maybe becoming a hearless and returning to the real/main world as a nobody.

This whole video was like hearing all my scattered thoughts and theories in an actual form. Thank you for this, this is exactly what I think MoM is trying to go at. And it plays into the "there are multiple children of destiny"

I always theorized that Ava was Kairi’s mother, and she left her with her grandmother on her father’s side while leaving some stories for her to tell her. I’ll admit this is only because Ava’s and Kairi’s keyblades look similar and have a similar theme to them. Plus imagine all the drama that would come about if Ava returned to help the Guardians of Light and she’s doing everything to help Kairi and not drop the bomb that she’s her mother while trying to find Sora who she thinks is Kairi’s boyfriend.

Reading about Luxord some more, scouring for details, he controls the gambler nobodies, and controls the attribute/element of time, that alone is fitting to all of this. What if Luxord is the light? And he’s been using his time powers to manipulate the timeline/going back and forth in time to make sure things turn out the way he wants ? Maybe he needs to get to quadratum? The place with no light or dark or whatever it is, but can’t, like his body can’t be sustained there because he is light? I dunno, just theorizing 😊

I'm still not sold on MoM being a "good guy" I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be true darkness.

In Japanese, the “fated child” Darkness talks about is EXACTLY the same words as the “child of destiny.” The translation just messed it up. Personally, I think Darkness misunderstood the child of destiny prophecy and didn’t realize the child would hail from Destiny Islands. But it chose Ventus because it believed he was this child. I’m not saying Ventus is the child of destiny or it means being a vessel for darkness, but Darkness believes this is true. Unless Darkness has the right idea about what the child of destiny is? Things you miss in the English translation. I wonder why MoM chose Strelitzia as a union leader if he potentially knew what Darkness would do to her. But why her?

I still like the theory that Luxord is Player who somehow ended up in Quadratum, but this presents a really interesting theory. I feel like Luxord knows of Luxu quite well, or at least the Black Box, but he doesn’t look the way he did when he knew Luxu. Player and Luxord also share similar quotes if you look at KH Wiki. I imagine Player and Luxu will interact in ML. Alternatively, I do like the idea that Demyx, Luxord, and Elrena are reincarnated hearts from the past who knew MoM but are in new bodies now. Kind of like Player’s reincarnation in ML.

I agree with you that Brain, Ava, and Luxu are all playing a role in acting against MoM… Also, I love that you pointed out how MoM ensured Daybreak Town fell to darkness and twisted Xehanort. I’m starting to think that Luxu protecting/saving Brain is how he was the traitor. So far it’s all going according to MoM’s plan, but we’ll see how things play out. I think his plan hinges on Sora, and possibly Riku, ending up in Quadratum. MoM said the BoP and Luxu’s memories were his waypoint to any point in time the book talked about. That explains how he talked to Young Xehanort.

Ansem/Young Xehanort's method and the incomplete Ark from UX theoretically follow the same rules: a free Heart by nature is able to transcend spacetime much more easily, another version of yourself would provide two of the things needed (a waypoint and memories of the traveller), and the RealOrgXIII made empty Replicas as the medium for the travellers' bodies.

Given everything else in the games, I'd imagine it could be blamed on some type of illusion based magic. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't rex initially confuse Sora for Yozora in that toybox cutsceen? If I'm remembering correctly that'd imply that his true body would be a closer match to sora, roxas, & ventus than it would to Riku or noctis, with him potentially being in his current body, looking similar to one of Sora's best friends could simply be because his mission is to save Sora in the first place. Even when his memories fail him, his heart can never truly forget such a friend

I was honestly going to go with the idea that Timeless River was a world based on the memories of the Disney Castle Denizens, but the conversation around the 10min mark definitely seems to disprove that. Honestly it being a magical equivalent to a virtual world, one that any of the people whose memories are included could visit, makes a lot more sense than it literally being time travel, but that's what they went with apparently haha. Rewatching this once again in anticipation of ML and something I didn't even think about before is in your master's intent section you explain how you believe the virus/rewriting of destiny that got Sora kicked into Quadratum was part of the Master's plan. I don't know if you recall or not since you didn't mention it, but in Secret Reports 11 from Luxu it says: "One of the Five is an imposter, someone the Master did not choose. They represent a virus in the program he so carefully wrote." So that's gotta be Brain right? That's why he bothered to speak with him and, as you're suggesting, plot with him against fate/the Master. Here's the key part: "The whole Union leader thing was supposed to be by the books. Are these new events just another phase in the Master's grand plan?" This is alluding to exactly the same thing you've said in this video. Luxu is specifically talking about the virus but he's considering the possibility that even that is part of the Master's grand plan. Which I bet it probably is for very similar reasons to what you suggested. If the Master is counting on Luxu to follow his feelings and then betray him, then he MUST be counting on him to aid in the virus, just as Luxu eventually suspects. I just wanted to share that since I haven't seen anyone else mention it and it adds a lot of weight to this great theory I think.

Damn. I've been trying to piece together what the master might be up to. I really dig this theory! Him corrupting Xehanort, a tool built to solve a problem against the master's wishes, so that another tool could be made to his liking would be genius!
