Don't be like this guy and gorilla smash the threads, moderate tension, your done. If you over tighten you risk damaging the threads which leads to future jams or leaks.

I have that exact same vacuum. I just bought two filters for it and I was it when it gets dirty and let it dry for a few days while I am using the other. My two filters have lasted over 5 years and I vacuumed drywall, concrete etc. i use the blue or green ridgid filters not the white. The white doesn’t last and is bad for you not hepa

I love active but this was the dumbest machine they could have ever made 700 less PSI and .3 More GPM... Especially if you're only going to use it for mobile. Getting 2.1 GPM saving you what? 2-3 minutes out of a 1 hour wash session?😂

Not sure if it was mentioned, but the lower portion of the wheel seemed a bit cleaner than the top. Not great, but a bit better. I imagine that's due to the chemical running down and spending more time in that area. Also, I have never found a wheel cleaner that didn't also need thorough agitation.. there is no magic chemical that will eliminate the need to scrub. Josh's scrubbing was half-hearted, which I understand for the test, but I am confident he really gets in there and scrubs with gusto on a professional detail job. That said, if you plan to spend the time scrubbing anyway, a mixture of vinegar and dawn dish soap has always served me well. Warm the vinegar in the microwave, add dawn so you have a 1 to 1 ratio in a spray bottle, and spray on to a cool, wettened wheel in the shade, and let sit a while. Then scrub, rinse, and repeat as you would with a chemical. This also works great to soften bug guts that get baked onto the front end and windshield, and it will clean the hell out of your shower! Josh, your videos are great... I've bought so many things you've positively reviewed, and you've saved me money along the way. Thanks!

Does anyone know if this is better than the DA Polisher from harbor freight that costs around $80 (the short one)

Thank you for a clear and unbiased review! I've watched a million of these and every other one has you believing you need a 200 GAL commercial compressor for a home shop if you want to take lugs off your car/truck. Thanks for comparing 6CFM tools to things like the HF compressor. It shouldn't take me more than a minute to run the lugs off and will have time to build up before moving to the next tire (we aren't running a pit crew here)... Super helpful and helps make my decision much easier!

CG products are junk. I can't think of anything they have ( which is a LOT) that I would recommend.

I have the Rupes polisher and completely agree with all of the points highlighted. Most of it you get used to, however the battery placing is its biggest problem, as you can easily hit the bodywork of the car when polishing. The trigger takes a little getting used to with the lock but ok. Overall it is the best battery MOP l have used to date.

Interesting. If the car is really dirty I'll spray it off, foam it then use a wash mitt. I thought every one did it that way.

Just FYI, the longer the hose, the more pressure you will lose over the line length.
@imjoshv17 сағат бұрын
That’s true for longer hoses for sure. I’ve tested up to a 100’ and there was no measurable difference at that length. There might be some loss but not enough to notice with the tools I’m testing with

Either works really, obviously pre rinse if the paint is hot from the sun but if you're in the shade with a cool vehicle I'd foam first

Oh look, perfect example of why CG isn't known for good products! Being in the spray can RTU it also screams of being a high-use product for making the company more moneys. I wouldn't bother wasting my money trying this going forward, based on the review. Thank you for taking one for the team and providing the info, Josh!!

You might be able to test spray force (somewhat) more scientifically and repeatably by putting some kind of protective plate on top of a bathroom scale, and then directing a stream of a specific width at the plate to see how much force is being exerted on the scale, then divide by area of spray to get ‘PSI on target’. The “impact width” on the box appears to be about identical between the two nozzles at the moment of penetration-the 15 degree tip just produces that impact width at a greater distance. I think the droplet velocity and flow rate at the nozzle should be equivalent between the two and dictated primarily by the orifice size, so I think it follows that the force on target is basically just a function of the area across which the spray is distributed.

I love your videos been watching a lot of your videos. I was really impressed and decided to subscribe. I was going to buy this foam cannon but it's not $18 anymore it's like $35 now. So now I'm looking for a foam cannon that works well for the price. Because of you I bought the riobi 1800 pressure washer. I'm going to buy that hose you sell too. And maybe that nice foam cannon you sell too. Thank you
