I wonder why every deemed I have owned breaks? I am looking for a good professional alternative to this pos! I also wonder why it is only good for lefties when using a cutoff wheel? If you are right handed it throws sparks right at you! Never buying another deemed again, they just do not hold up!

I find the black oxide does not operate as smoothly and can rub off on your hands with hard use. It is also hard to see when laid down on the ground or in a dim lit area. If you are cutting food you will be consuming this coating. I do not see any advantage of black oxide other than stealth.

That is not actually the first version. The first version didn't have rivets on the side, those were added later after complaints.

OG Wave is my fave! ❤ It a little lighter, I never had a major issue with just slip joints on the secondary tools and I always have hated the flattened proprietary LM bits which really seemed like its their function was a way to drain extra money from customers at excessive prices and then as a tool only after the money. I broke so many of the "jewelry" sized bits that I just started to consider it a right off space. Dropping $20 bucks on a whole box of bit adapters when you only need one adapter gets really old after you've done it for the second or third time 🤬!

Unwinding is a possibility. Out of 100 more or less windings, 1 winding less will not unbalance the electromagnetic field. Another solution is to extend the broken line with a similar diameter connection (requires soldering though)

Thanks for sharing. Leatherman is a quality tool. Everyone will snatch it when you laid it around without any attention. My fellow workers or even my nephews got their Leatherman walked away without a trace. I have a few Leatherman myself for different occasions 🙏👍

Use a single 16650. Its under 6V. Work fine with regular SF G2X and other that dont tak 18650ies.

Sorted, thank you! The wire leading to the broken end was caught around the bottom of the coil so I could not pull it through. I cut a fresh one out of the coil and fittrd that, doesn't seem to have any problems. All the best

Beware the new version just launched . it only has 1 Input port to charge the battery . not 2 . also the port C1 can charge up to 140W just on that 1 port itself . so there is good or bad . i just bought mine today in singapore , paid USD 89 . i am still charging it up , havent used it . Size & weight is very similar to the Anker powercore 537 , 24000mah . this Ugreen does state its rated capacity is only 14500mah ( 5v x 6a ) . normally it should be 15000-16000 . i wanted to get the anker 537 powercore 24000 for the same price , but this has battery indicator in numbers & up to 140W charging , means i can now game on my laptop ....which needs up to 110Watts when playing intense games ... the Anker 537 only can do 65W . however i suspect the anker might be a better brand in the long run . In japan and the USA , Anker is pretty cheap .

Two of my copper wires were severed. I had to order a new field assembly because I pulled too hard on the copper wire that I should have soldered and it broke off behind the coil, but $20 and a week later, I'm up and running again!
