@@SK3TCHY_ the version of blender shouldnt affect the process unless uts a very old version

keep trying multiple times by pressing alt + s and it works again, that happened to me today

@@salty3704 I used to use a really old and bad HP computer thats now broken so i wouldn’t recommend but most newer computers support blender

@@salty3704 I know many people start with the donut tutorial so you can search that up, and i w start commissions until you get a base understanding and skill on blender to send models you can send the blend file if you both use the same version or export (usually as an obj)

@@JolinCookie Mhm! I can understand that. I also wanna say that i didnt mean any harm. Just wished it would be better to see. For example in the Hair Video tutorial around : 1:59 its very hard to see where exactly you are clicking. 2:18 entering edit mode again, not mentioned sadly. some of the audience may be hard of seeing or have smaller monitors. because of the overlay the window is smaller, making it harder for us to see :) 2:29 adding a new collection button is hidden/partially hidden behind the ribbon there :( 2:42 scaling the vertex down. here i got completely lost was to what you are exactly doing. I would assume you are in edit more and just click a vertex and scale it down? i tried googling it and couldnt find it. I hope those hints can help you in the future, i am not a beginner anymore when it comes to blender, but i am still learning i was super excited to find a tutorial that would teach me something new and hope it still will be in the future maybe with a updated version. (i think your aesthethic setup for videos is very pretty but the colors really make it hard to see when you want to gather the information in) i think personally it shouldnt matter if a video is is meant for intermediate audiences or not. you explain the beginning excellently for beginngers just then got quickly into work and not teaching mode, if that makes sense <3

@@user-of4sl7ld2c make sure you are selecting the curve and not something else, sometimes if you don’t completely select out of the previous object it could mess with what you can do on the menu

@@JolinCookie Hmmm, is there something I could do to make the grid appear? whenever I select the strands, and I enter edit mode, it just shows me the lines with the bulbs for each strand.
