Thank you sooo much for sharing a bit of your family history with us. I loved hearing that about your great uncle. He had great foresight being a young man as you said. I wouldn't be able to enjoy videos of Wallace Farm & Sawmill, had it not been for him. Hey, I'm not a huge fan of Billy Ray Cyrus, but he got it right with these lyrics of one of his songs from years ago: 🎼"All gave some, some gave all ♥️ God bless, laters ☺️👍

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the relatives of you guys at Wallace Farm and Sawmills who bravely fought and sacrificed their lives in the protection of our country and its freedoms. Their courage and dedication are not only a testament to their personal valor but also a profound gift to all of us who enjoy the liberties they fought to preserve. Their sacrifice is a poignant reminder of the cost of freedom and the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity. We honor their memory and their commitment to ensuring that future generations can live in peace and security. Your family's legacy of service and patriotism is an inspiration to us all. Thank you for your immense contributions and for continuing to uphold the values and freedoms they fought so valiantly to protect. With heartfelt appreciation,

Enjoyed watching your day, glad to know others have days like myself. I'm retired (74) and seems that my days go from what I intended to do, to what takes priority after I get started. Anyway Good to see you working to feed your family and using the family farm to make a living. God Bless keep turning them out.

Prune the bottom of your tomato plants at least 6 to 8 inches to help keep the worms off.

One of my best friends served in Korea and he was a bull strong cement man in later years. Long story short, he came to alaska where I lived and we became friends and shared many stories. I served in Nam in the late sixties, came home to work as a mechanic. So his knowledge of cement and my mechanical skills worked as a good marriage in a way I guess... not a gay way tho. I know that feeling of loss and have been angry most all of my life and it ruined my marriage to my wife and kids. After our divorce, I stayed single and just worked on anything with nuts and bolts. I am not sure if your clutch needs a bit of adjustment or the throw out bearing is just worn out and not doing its job as it should not jerk when you place it in gear. Its hard to get to on most of those tractors as the hose that made it easier to grease would rot off or get removed and so not get its grease like it needs. Remember a little goes a long ways as you don't need it all over the plate or flywheel. Your in some of the finest dirt as you see it going from one acre to the next when the wind is blowing while plowing. I hate war as its all politics and they should fight in these wars, maybe they wouldn't want to toss us in so quick.... mind you, I would still fight if needed but at near seventy five and crippled, I best keep making the coffee for those who still can. I keep thinking of some kind of preditor bug that likes to eat those pesky worms your fighting. Natural ways always seem the best and when we upset nature, things just get out of hand. Maybe some kind of bird that doesn't enjoy the tomatoes might be the ticket but I guess sharing a few tomatoes might still be okay provided the ones that are still good go on the table, others feed the pigs, and the rest go back into the soil or compost. I have always been a fan of rabbit or cow manure... chickens are a tad hot but it can be soaked in water to dilute it down and hand water around the plants. I see your garden is okay with out any tunnels or covers although they do have some kinds of benefits also. I did enjoy hearing your story of family and how much it means to you all. You also might consider a umbrella for your tractor as its mighty hot where you live. I enjoy about five or more days of hot weather and then it takes the sap out of me. I may of been born in N. Carolina but alaska is now my home.... we all seem to wind up somewhere for a reason and my reasons are not so clear to me but there must a been one

First of all I would like to touch on the weather, I know y'all are in Northern Mississippi but I'm just North of Baton Rough and it reached 103 degrees today and the weather says it was the hottest Memorial Day on record. The next is I had a Nephew that served in the Iraqui that passed away active duty at the age of 21 so Memorial Day means A LOT to me also.

I have relatives that served all the way back to the Revolutionary War. I don’t know about the Revolutionary War, but none died in service to the country that l know of. I know the families that do the pain is great and things will never be the same. My dad is a Korean era veteran, my brother was in for 20 years and saw action in Grenada, Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He was in airborne infantry 15 years. We would not be able to live as we do if not for all the veterans, especially the ones who gave their lives for freedom.
