I wonder if you could have a little metal enclosed box that slots together so its normally flatpacked in the van. Then put the fosc inside the assembled box with a hole in the side for the heat gun. It would create a baffle to surround the fosc with hot air. Once the case is off, it could then continue melting the ice inside
@JBWR
@JBWR 4 күн бұрын
Fantastic idea, but I think it's size would be a major concern in actual feasibility. Sure when it's collapsed, that would save space, but deploying it would be a problem. FOSCs come in various dimensions, so housing the frozen case depends on it's size. Furthermore, space inside of an trailer is always a concern for efficiency and safety. Perhaps, a collapsible heat box that can be deployed outside of the trailer with the option of propane or battery power. Thanks for the comment. LIKE, Share, SUB-scribe!!

This is only the beginning of your troubles with your KIA/Hyundai motor vehicle. I can break out the window of your KIA/Hyundai and be off with it in under 2 minutes. There's a reason why KIA/Hyundai are in the news all the time when they are talking about criminals committing crimes while driving. They are stealing these incredibly easy to steal vehicles and using them to commit their crimes. Basically, if you own a KIA or a Hyundai, you have just bought a criminal a car to commit crimes in. "But I got keyless entry and push button start!" Yeah, you're an idiot, because there is a very simple way to defeat that too. See, your fob transmits an electronic signal, CONSTANTLY. All one has to do is walk up on your porch with their scanner, copy the signal, and then use it to enter your vehicle and drive off; just like they own it. And the criminals know which cars have push button start, it is their criminal business to know. The other day I pointed out to my sister how someone could just follow her to grocery store and follow her around in the store for a bit, to get her FOB's signal, then just exit the store and drive away with her new Ford Bronco. I instructed her to obtain a Faraday pouch to keep her FOB in at all times(she did). KIA/Hyundai "owners" are actually just stolen vehicle suppliers. Hahahahaha! ALL OF THEIR CARS ARE DEFECTIVE STRAIGHT OFF THE LINE.

I take my vehicles to my mechanic, he’s an independent guy. He does the job correctly by draining the oil and removing the filter, then priming the new filter and putting the plug back in and filling the engine to spec. I only drive older Chevy, so no problems with oil plugs.

I don't understand this comment. This problem exists WITHOUT the oil change places. It is not their fault, it is a fault with the vehicle's manufacture. You sent me this link based on a comment I made on different video of yours: "How folks think black people communicate" My apologies for being slow to respond, nearly a week I think, So that said let me first say it is nice to see someone who actually puts some thinking into his postings. It is always difficult to broach this subject since we now in binary times, especially on social media where you are either 'black or white' (pun chosen intentionally), since obviously there can only be one answer to a given reality. Luckily we have people like Kellyanne Conway who point out to us that in reality there are "alternative facts" but that said it is refreshing to see someone just point out realities and admit "who knows". Are white people racist? Absolutely. Are black people racist? Absolutely. Here are two adages I consider paramount; first and foremost any tribe will behave as badly as its circumstances allow and second despite all the importance placed on specific tribes and how they are unfairly treated there is NO EVIL worse than misogyny. From that position I consider all issues with what I hope is critical thinking. If you cannot do that then you are just espousing a learned bias. That said I really liked how you approached this Seinfeld episode since it speaks to a specific type of tribalism. Elaine is upset because she thinks they are talking shit about her, which of course they are, but what this work is Larry David is incredibly clever and approaches this issue on so many issues all at once. Think about it. He brings up racism on so many levels. Is Elaine part of the systematic white racism because she obliges herself on Korean women who may have few options for employment other than working in a nail salon. Are the nail women racist because in their mind their tribe put up with white women who need their services, (oddly enough the approach of both Elaine and the Korean nail women are both based in the same racist subtext). Is Elaine being unfair for finding a means to to learn what the nail women are talking about her? [As an aside how apropos that as I am typing this my play list starts to play Depeche Mode's "People are People." Is anyone right? Of course not because everyone is a bigot, well except me and I am still not sure about you! :) Ultimately it all comes down to tribalism. When it comes to atonement when in the starting point? I do not think there is one. A larger majority of African slaves were sent to Brazil not the US, (roughly 500,000 versus nearly 5 million), and that requires the current attitude that the Muslim Slave trade never existed as it stands as it is largest slaver and the longest running systematic slave trade, (roughly a thousand years). I bring up atonement not because of reparations but rather because at a point when there is more information available to us we prefer the lack of information as our choice. If you just respond viscerally to issues you have nothing of value to speak of. Isn't that where we are now? Comics used to be allowed to explore these issues. Now don't get me wrong not all comics are heroes. Andrew Dice Clay for example was very popular but he was just a misogynist but leaving "free speech" aside he was nothing of value however you cannot operate in the world of comedy without having way more losers than winners. That's just reality. I have never liked this attitude that comics are "clever". The majority are utter hacks. But so it anything else so you have face the reality that for every Lenny Bruce who said "are there any Niggers here", (if you do not know the context watch the movie Lenny with Dustin Hoffman), there are 100 others with NOTHING to say. Not sure if this is what you were expecting in a reply?

We test alot of live fiber on this job i'm on. Live fiber OTDRs are hard to come by, one guy bought an Exfo one for several grand, turns out it didn't have a 1650/ 1625 capable module. I'm looking at the these D Yedemc cheap ones about $400 bucks one Amazon. If it works even a little bit I think it would be worth it, it won't shoot thru a splitter, not the end of the world. Obviously your not going to troubleshoot large distances, cabinets, or submit exfo files with it, but for finding a broken cable or bad splice..... It would be a game changer if the thing is actually functional I guess i'm going to buy one and take one for the team. Im currently using a T-Berd 2000 with a 1625 module on it, its slow but accurate just to expensive to buy one for everybody. Thank you for not using Meters!
