I’m non-islamic and it’s fun to learn history and other stuff. This channel provides some good islamic history but please don’t be pushy with religion matters. The Far East and South Asia regions were never predominantly islamic in terms of faith and spirituality, especially under the Indian and Chinese influence. Instead of trying to prove “everything was islamic”, try to see things for what they are first. Islam was only ONE component of the history of these regions under Indian and Chinese influence. Failing to understand people and how they think is exactly what leads to blindly pushing agenda on what one “thinks” as right. It’s “psychological projection” in psychology which points out the fact they we all try to impose what we know on others, thinking they think like we do. Instead of trying to convince people what religion they should follow. Learn to understand cultural and ideological differences between people in different places of the world first, then let things be as they are. Which faith people choose will come naturally with their choice. There is always genetic and environmental divergence that shapes people and how they think. Not everyone looks the same way, just like you have more than 1 way to hold chopsticks.

Therefore, in the context of this passage, a woman who is wearing her hair longer marks herself out distinctively as a woman and not a man. The Apostle Paul is saying here that in the Corinthian culture, when a wife’s hair was longer than her husband’s, it showed her submission to his headship. The roles of the male and female are designed by God to portray a profound spiritual lesson, that is of submission to the will and the order of God.

I think that the fact that European Christians conquered Muslim lands and people and Muslims conquered European Christian people and lands feels different depending on which side of history we feel we identify most. Europe and Christiandome lost; Eastern Rome/Byzantium, Armenia is the Baltic, Hungry, France, Greece, Sicily, Iberia/Spain while Islamdome also lost land to Europe; India, the entire magrib/northern Africa, Malaya, the Philippines, Palestine, Syria/Lebanon, Iraq, Iran... The former Ottoman empire.
