Being a Odia from Puri , Jagannath , I am so happy to see the dance from our Mahaprabhu Jagannath's temple courtyard went to the world stage ! Folks around the world, this dance form is only for Lord Jagannath, dont think Odisshi dancer as any other dancer they are devotees to Lord Jagannath ( form of Krishna in Kaliyuga) !

How can you not show legs and feet action? Please always show foot work continuously in all kinds of dances.

Esta preciosa es igual a Jazmine de Aladdin ❤ Algunas danzas de las culturas originarias de México usan cascabeles en los pies similares, alguien sabe el significado en esta cultura?

Thank you for reminding us of the divine connection of sound vibration and how your physical art is a manifestation of ancient hymn, music and universal law. Playing tabla does this for me, and it's wonderful to share this joy of life! Thank you for the reminders too.😁🙏🏻💕

Maryam, thank you for this deeply moving performance. As a kid when I first learned this sequence, I felt reverent and cleansed somehow. Namaste to your Guru 🙏✨You are a credit to him. We are connected in a small way since I’m relearning Odissi from his daughter-in-law.

@SciDOCMBC4 ай бұрын
@@sauravmondal4342 Is this a historical fact or do you really think that Western culture is already over 5000 years old? There were already houses in India and the Middle East where your ancestors crawled out of caves with scraps of fur as clothing.
