...don't own an RE. But like those bikes. There is a youtube video around from a guy explaining how important those bolts are. If those are not tight the frame will take too much load. The engine - as stressed member - should take a big part of the load. If those bolts are loose there is a danger that the frame suffers damage from overload. Means: try to get a detailed description from RE how to proceed. Correct prestress / Torque on those bolts might be super critical. Good luck! Regards, Andreas
@OnceARider8 сағат бұрын
Hi Andreas, Thank you for sharing that information and you are right, those bolts are super critical since engine is also a stress member, for now I have tighten those bolt with some medium strength thread lock and very soon I have to go for 2nd service. So will consult to the Engineers at RE service center.

I cleaned both, Rotor and Pads with some soapy water, which is a mixture of just some plain water and little Vim ( dishwasher ) any dishwasher should do the job, they are good degreaser. And in Himalayan the brake pads are from Brembo not Vesrah and I haven't used the Vesrah pad so couldn't comment much.

Well, I would say there is no durability issue as such, just bit of negligence from RE service centers, they have skill gap. Since this is a all new engine and chassis design the local service centers are not aware about he issue which might occur. These are minor issues and can be fixed easily, since in this new chassis design the engine also a part of stress member so obviously it will transfer the vibrations to the chassis and bolts will come loose, they should have applied thread lock while installing the engine guard. So, I have done it myself now, will update soon if there are some new findings.

It's just a screen caste, means whatever is on your phone screen it would be displayed on the dash and in case of Royal Enfiled app it only castes the Map screen, so dash doesn't uses data on it's own. But they do make me feel a bit worried. Some feedback is appreciated, pls do reply
@OnceARiderАй бұрын
Hello.. 1. The vibrations will keep getting better, in my case around 600kms and first service vibrations were totally gone. It felt like a different machine altogether. 2. But the vibrations were not that prominent at 60km/h, in my case around 90-110 vibrations were very annoying. But as mentioned in the above comment they got better with time. 3. Engine gets hot in the beginning. A little burning smell should not be a concern. But if it is very prominent and doesn't go after running for some time. Maybe let's say 100km then you should get it checked. 4. I would advise not to go beyond 4000rpm for the initial 500kms. And beyond 6000rpm for 500-2000kms as mentioned in the user manual. Also do not hard accelerate. If you take care of your bike in the initial breaking period, it will serve you better and you will not face any problems later. Happy Riding, cheers!!

@OnceARider3 ай бұрын
How aggressive is the pull? Mine was very aggressive even at high speed. If it is not very aggressive you need not worry. However if you are in Pune you can try Chopada Motors, Wagholi service center. Other than that: 1. You can visit any good tyre shop and check your wheel balancing(also trueing). most of the issues are due to wheel balancing. For many people having this issue RE has changed the tyre. 2. Get your suspensions cheeked, since both the suspensions are different, one handles compression and other handles dampening. So if they are not properly tuned they may cause an imbalance. 3. Lots of bikes from the initial lot had a cone set issue, so get it checked as well.
