I get that same belt squeak after put everything together…. I changed all pulleys and belt and after few days it squeaks again….. it must have to do with adjusting those internal T nuts where alternator bolts. It seems like it’s not align right…. Did you notice that ?

Honestly I just found out this was probably what was wrong with my car so it’s nice to see a tutorial right away 😂, also crazy to think this is 7 years old because I remember all that music playing on the radio everyday back then

So the new fob has to be already be keyed first according to these instructions. You couldn't just have the new fob and program it first.

Why dos GM use these Torx screws with a pin in the center vs. a simple/std. Phillips screw? Answer: Discourages DIYs = they want you to visit a dealership.

Hey! Surprised no one has commented yet, but thanks for this. My 2019 has the same issue. I thought maybe the inbuilt lens was too fogged up or dirty, but a cleaning with alcohol only made the circle brighter. I've ordered that part. I'll try to remember to post an update once it arrives and I install it.
@tonyphillips9105 ай бұрын
Woot! Part arrived yesterday, installed it over lunch today. For those that have come across this video, here's a few tips: If you have the towing package (as his Traverse and mine do), remove the access panel from the gray bumper skirt. Remove the skirt's front body-mount screw located between the left tailpipe and the hitch assembly. It'll give the skirt a little more play, giving your hands more room. That needs a T-15. Unscrew the two screws he mentions from the lamp, and slide the old unit out between the front of the skirt and the body. To remove the cable clip (it's delicate): Unlock it by sliding the red tab forward. Put a small-blade flat head under the lever between the new unit and the cable clip. PUSH the connecter, DON'T pull the wires. Reassemble in reverse order, and voila! Whole thing took less than thirty minutes, and most of that time was figuring out how to get my hands in good positions to get the screws out. Thanks again, King!

@@tonyphillips910how difficult was the install? Can you do it without removing the bumper cover?
@tonyphillips910Ай бұрын
@@warrenteall6721 I'm fairly hands-on when it comes to home repairs and such, so on a scale of 1=difficult and 5=easy-peasy, I'd give this a 4. I had to look it up and make sure, and you're correct. It's technically the lower bumper cover that I removed the screw from (not called a skirt). You definitely don't need to remove the cover entirely. Just the one screw on the left so it can open up a bigger gap between the body and the cover for more room to work. I have fairly small hands, and I wasn't able to maneuver in there enough to get it out and back in without removing that one screw which was the easiest part of the whole process. If I'd have access to tire stands, it probably would have been a whole lot easier and maybe even not needed to remove that screw. Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I just found the notification of your question when I was searching for the order for the lamp (because I want to buy something else from the same supplier.)

Had a problem with my 08 Lucerne like this....but I also like to unscrew (using a 7 mm socket) the plastic molding behind the the front wheels and pull the molding away from the fender and empty out all the leaves and debris that has collected in the little pocket...I couldn't believe how crap was hidden in there!

Mine is the original MAF sensor sine 1997 and I've never had a problem with it. Sorry you had a problem with yours
@mikejohn00885 ай бұрын
Life of the MAF depends on how much dust/dirt you car is exposed to and how often you change your air filter. The MAF in my 2003 Buick Century is the original (never even cleaned) = no need as I maintain the car religiously.

To all the people commenting about the impeller put in wrong direction, it will correct itself. I would have put some 101 on the shaft teeth and inspected the prop shaft for fishing line and leaks. Nice trick with the fishing string. 20+ years never had to do that but it may help someone
