*It fired because the filter on the pump eased up. You needed to just change the filter. Mine had the same problem but changing the filter fixed it and it's been driving for 2 years.*

I have a bmw the same as yours it does the same thing only the speed needles do not move and the temperature needle goes up to the other side Will it be the same problem with the pump or will it be something else greetings from north carolina

We will never know how long it would of lasted, as it was in an accident, and written off bye bye X5

It's because the wiring harness has been recalled they will replace it for you

I bought a new fuel pump & filter, battery and it still wont crank. The amps are fine. What else could be the issue?

If it wont crank it might be the key or the immobiliser, you can get an AK90 to test the key or programme a new key, there are videos on youtube if you check.
