I’m so glad you got to do this for yourself! I’ve been wanting to do this for at least 15 years and I’ve never had the means to afford them. One day I will though and I hope I get to feel more like myself. Thank you for sharing. They really suit you ❤

I have a crested gecko named Spyro. I sometimes see him in the process of getting ready to shed, but not actually in the process of physicality shedding itself. Sometimes I have to help him get rid of any stuck shed that he may have left over afterwards.

Beautifully done! I was the same... l wanted long black wavy dreadlocks.. but my mother said no.. you'd look stupid! At the age of 66, l finally got them. l did it myself ! Black, Long, wavy , 30-inch I never looked better in my life! Rock on!

You look stunning with the dreads. I think you did extremely well and although the dreads looked gorgeous without the decoration, after you decorated them they look even more special and you made them your own. I got my dreads some month ago and could not have been happier. Every single day I feel great when I see myself. Wearing them allows me to show my inner me.

its only water proof if u dont rub it. if you rub it while wet it comes off easily. maybe test it again?

a lot of times you are just pulling out the dye more than dirt on syn de -- wash before putting them in

be careful with a vinegar base cleanser -- its very drying to the scalp -- I use NO products and organic shampoo -- wash as you do your hair - do it the same day every week

Wow, what an amazing video! My male started shedding today, I made him a warm water bath and it helped the process a lot! Especially on his feet and tail and he managed to get it off and eat it! I think it’s super cool. 🤯 I’ve never had one before so this was my first time seeing this!

How often does a crested gecko shed?

My adults shed about once a month from what I see. When they're younger, freshly hatched or still under a year I'd say it's much more often than that! I can't really say a clear number but it starts off fairly often when they're babies & gets less & less when they're coming closer to adulthood. The reason behind that is that they (like all other animals) grow much quicker when they're young so they'll have to shed much more frequently too.
