Hello there, beautiful!
Today I want to take you on my dreadlock journey.
It has been an insanely long process to install these double ended dreadlock extensions but it was definitely worth it!
I love the outcome so much & I hope so will you.
This video is going to be a really quiet one that you can relax to, with loads of music & mainly watching me struggle with my dreadlocks & their jewellery.
So grab a tea, lean back & enjoy.
Installing double ended dreadlock extensions was a great decision in my opinion & I would always do it again!

I have also wanted dreads since I was a kid and everyone in my life has always told me not to that they were so ugly and blah blah blah. My dread extensions are currently on their way! Yay for us! Screw what other people think, it's our hair. Lol

Same. I waited 50 years for them. My mother loved my naturally curly hair, and I didn't get them because of that. My mother passed away two years ago, and I finally did it. I love it so much!

Beautifully done! I was the same... l wanted long black wavy dreadlocks.. but my mother said no.. you'd look stupid! At the age of 66, l finally got them. l did it myself ! Black, Long, wavy , 30-inch I never looked better in my life! Rock on!

I’m so glad you got to do this for yourself! I’ve been wanting to do this for at least 15 years and I’ve never had the means to afford them. One day I will though and I hope I get to feel more like myself. Thank you for sharing. They really suit you ❤

You look stunning with the dreads. I think you did extremely well and although the dreads looked gorgeous without the decoration, after you decorated them they look even more special and you made them your own. I got my dreads some month ago and could not have been happier. Every single day I feel great when I see myself. Wearing them allows me to show my inner me.

Thank you so much! I totally agree & I do! Just had them in for 3 months again & took them out again about 2 weeks ago. So yeah I constantly put them back in once every few months & feel empty when I don't have them in ☺️🙈

@@Nickel09 I did remove them --- started having scalp issues -- I miss them -- and used human hair -- just my scalp just did not like the process

Hi! It looks beautiful on you. I've installed synthetic drugs a couple of times but I can only handle wearing them 3 to 4 weeks at a time because I don't like the frizz when it starts to grow out at the top of my head. Also they're very uncomfortable to sleep on. Just curious how long did you wear them?

They look so beautiful!! I've just ordered the materials to make my own set!! I've always wanted them too and my family and friends always said not to, but I'm doing it for me. I'm beyond excited. How have they been and how long have/did you wear them for? 🥰🦋

I'm so glad you're doing what YOU want now❣️ Well I took them out throughout summer but just put them back in in October. Usually I leave them in for around 1-3 months depending on how frizzy the top of my head gets. But I recommend taking them out by no longer than 2 months because the hair gets really knotty at the root of the dread! Besides you're gonna see when it starts looking weird. No worries! 🤗

@@FragmentedReality of course! My biggest tip is to buy jewelry & hair wraps with the dreads. If you're not happy with the outcome of certain pieces of your braiding or smth you can hide the mistakes perfectly with them ♥️ Also for your scalp: the spray that's on the dread shop website is really soothing. I'm sure I can tell you much more but can't think of anything rn. Ask me whenever you have questions! 🤗🥰 But first of all. Enjoy your dread journey❣️🙃
