I still have no idea why the Emperor would bring this giant thing with him on his status symbol trips. Its a completely useless structure. If you're going to lug that much mass across the galaxy, you might as well add some functionality.

What's crazy is when the atomics went off and the building was shaking you can see these little square panels on the interior walls losen to adapt to the shaking and they seal right back in place.

@@RandomVidsforthought I understand that if this kind of movies is all that you saw, then it might seem appropriate to you. It is just sad how Hollywood is basically stealing investor's money right now producing some lazy looking designs with budgets that would blow everybody's mind a few decades ago.

@@RandomVidsforthought How old are you? What kind of an argument is that? They are designers paid a whole lot of money to their jobs properly. I am not. I have a profession and a job that pays me well. I am suppossed to do my job as those designers are expected to do theirs. I do not expect a carpenter to do the mayor's job or Villeneuve to direct a movie properly, because he is not a good director. He is praised for his "VISUALS" all the time I get it. So even if the movie is shit as a whole I'd expect the designs and the damned CGI to be at least half-impressive, not cost-effective looking.

why was this actually used, after watching this i feel the movie is cut by a long margin here. When the whole point of the novels is space GoT why not show the space travel atleast once in each movie.

Not kidding: when I saw the reflectivity of the Emperor's ship in the theater, it made my jaw drop. It probably wasn't the hardest effect to produce but MAN did it look cool.
