Several of the games you listed as being 'console exclusive' to the older gen, were on pc/played better on pc. Oblivion and fallout3, the orange box, GTA4, bioshock. You're being disingenous by culling from the list for the modern gen, but not culling for the older gen list.

gaming is genuinely better than it's ever been. there is a long enough backlog of great games to last a lifetime, and more ways to play than ever. you can emulate classics at higher resolution, and play games on handheld that us 90s kids never even could have dreamed of playing on the most powerful console. indie developers and small studios like team cherry and the TUNIC team and double fine and Larian are still giving us masterpieces. just ignore the AAA crap, do some research, open your mind to a blast from the past, and gaming is treasure trove like never before. it's no different than the music industry. the good stuff is out there, it's just not going to come to you anymore. you have to go and seek it out.

Whats worse this consoles are already outdated so disappointed, most of their games have not been at least in 60fps bench mark wich it is also outdated, your better off saving your money and buying a gaming pc instead. I for sure wont be buting next genoutdated consoles any more.

I just don't have a love for the 7th generation consoles like so many others to. To me that's exactly where everything started going wrong. The concept of DLC's were started, the focus shift to online multiplayer started, microtransactions started, and the industry also started to get very corporate during that era too. The sad fact is the 6th generation was the last one truly for gamers, where the majority of the industry was people passionate about games coming up with new ideas, free to express them however they saw fit without persecution, and the players were allowed to enjoy the experiences to the fullest. I seriously consider just dropping modern gaming entirely and only playing 6th-gen and older for the rest of my life because there's enough content there to last me decades.

I'm happy with my ps5. I don't play online, I don't have the time. However, unreal engine 5 has been available for 2 years and I'm still waiting for a game that is built on it! 😢

They turned consoles into anall in one media centre so when thers jack shit to play, you just start scrolling netflix of Amazon plus and when that doesnt work youve got a catalogue of endless nostalgia.. I tried playing my series x for the first time in like 2 months and it immediately needed a firmware update and then several 60gb updates for my games. I left it to download and it automatically turned off without finishing them. I noticed hours later and changed the setting and finally had it updated when I needed to go to bed. The next time I thought about playing it was about a month later and everything needed updates again

I got a PS5 last year in February. All the games I play, are ps4 compatible with the same exact graphics. So I basically bought a PS5 to play PS4 games 🤣

I only got 3 minutes into your video before I stopped In your very first example of games you broke your own rules. In the first display you showed games from PS5 and SeriesX, took away games that played better on a PC, and took away the remakes. If your second display you showed games from PS5, SeriesX, AND Wii, and didn't take away any games that played better on PC (which I believes falsely implies there was none). These games were better played on PC. Oblivion Battlefield Bad Company Left 4 Dead 2 The Orange Box And Prey too I believe. I never played the XBox version of Prey but I did play the PC version in 2008/2009 and it ran pretty well. Sorry but when the first statement of fact is incorrect I stop watching a video.

Typical consoles thing.. locked in, depended on the company with usually bad backwards compatability (its nice the PS5 can play PS4 games.. but is it even a PS5 if there are no PS5 games.. might aswell be a PS4.5) On the PC side however.. cheaper in the long run, more versatile and mostly backwards compatible..

So the reason games suck now comes down to greed

Activision also released Spider-Man on the PS1 where N64 got it with comic book style for scenes the Playstation got cutscenes that to my opinion were better then what Nintendo gave it's users and that's why Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro was released onto Playstation. Theres an actual rear copy of Spider-Man 2 where the end boss level still has the Twin towers in it before being pulled due to the travesty that took place
