This meat would be great for making ground beef, beef jerky, slow cooked pot roast, but I don't think I'd make it into steaks.

Guess we're not friends. I can't do the fat. (cracklins are ok) Can't afford filet mignon, couldn't afford meat raising 3 kids on a dime so never learned much about meat,. Tried to skillet 2 steaks as instructed last month - first one I burnt (set off all the smoke detectors, even the one in the basement) and then tried the other, looked good but whole this was toooo rare, ended up cutting it in strips and gave it another quick skillet moment. Meanwhile, found a butcher who gave me a huge suet, made tallow! We're talking. Learning.

I love MTbiking and hikes but could not get rid of stubborn weight, I went on the Lion Diet and in 2 weeks lost 18.5 # I'm shooting for 30# in first the month. But not forcing it, just riding, walking and living life.

Unfortunately, COSTCO in the Toronto area doesn't seem to have these large sub primal meat packages....instead trying to flog Wagyu meat at exorbitant prices. If you are aware of any place in Toronto that sells these cuts.....it would be most appreciated if you could pass it along.

I work at Costco and will be talking to my meat department peeps about the Chuck Roll. I’ll ask one of the guys to come over to demo breaking it down for me. New subscriber. Thanks for what you do.

Just bought 40 pounds of Rib Eye Roast at my local US Chef Store...10.59 a pound...basically if I had gone to Sams Club or Costco I would have paid $120 to over $200 more....crazy...got 32 steaks out of it...amazing...love my new vacuum sealer...this is the way to go...I had a gift card to my local butcher..the only thing in the joint that looked any good were bone in ribeyes..they were $32 EACH...ugh...they weren't even that good...thank goodness for the gift card....

LOL "Don't buy picanha". I love that. I do that same thing with Florida. Don't come here, it sucks. Dinosaurs want to eat you and it's so damn hot. Completely miserable. Stay away.

Is there anyway to tell how long its been aged or can you age it in the fridge after you buy it. I've always bought a 1/2 or 1/4 of beef cut up and I like it aged a week or 2 first. Thanks!

I leave the skin on the salmon and cook it on my trager, keeps it from sticking and is easy to remove after cooked, even better if you do it on a cedar plank, best ever.
@jasonharris99904 күн бұрын
Great video, I'll be checking out more of them. Things I don't buy at Costco, cooked chickens since getting some that are way undercooked and not edible, also any farm raised fish or shrimp. You can get wild caught salmon and in my opinion so much better. keep the videos coming. Thanks!

Why is Meat in the US so dirt cheap?
@markjohnson56022 күн бұрын
It's because everyone loves to save money and buy food cheaply processed by large corporations that put tremendous downward pressure on the family ranch. People really don't realize how they contribute to the problem buying by price alone.
