@@XXelpollodiabloXX IDK if you watch baseball... but one of the BEST things that can happen is a "Perfect Game"... where you watch 2 people play catch for 9+ innings. Baseball isn't the least bit action packed and the people that go to these games would likely understand this
@XXelpollodiabloXX11 ай бұрын
@@achabotte That at least would be noteworthy. I am a guy who totally digs a pitcher's duel, and those games are generally (relatively speaking) shorter games. But there is no way you still have starters throwing in the 16th inning. I would love to see the box score for this game, because you may be right.

As a fan of baseball I can't tell you how infuriating it is to see incompetence like this as to let your opponent score 10 times in one single inning lol
@nrf29611 ай бұрын
It's not incompetence, it can happen to any team. Sometimes you're on your game and some days the other team is just clicking even your best stuff. Sorry you don't see the truth as a fan of baseball. Seems like you only want to chalk it up as incompetence other than another team just seeing the ball a lot better. Any given day this can happen over and over to any team. Nolan Ryan has the most Ks ever recorded but he's also given up dang near the most walks. He doesn't have a mind blowing E.R.A or Winning %. Pitchers who threw a perfect game in close games or even blowouts, doesn't mean that the other team sucked or was incompetent. It's just some days everything is clicking on all cylinders and everyone else on your squad is too. The catcher calls the pitches and locations, pitching is not easy. Nor is connecting on the perceived pitch much less figuring out where it's going much less where itll end up heading to home plate or where off the bat. So please be respectful and have a great day. I love baseball and football and I understand that not every game my Braves will be the best or be able to provide the runs they do when needed. Or that Spencer Strider, Max Friend, or Charlie Morton will be able to hold off the power or contact of some of the most dangerous lineups in baseball today or if our dangerous lineup will be clicking each night but that won't change my perception of the hardwork the team puts in each day in game or not to do their best Against any team. If the opposing teams beats them and the other team rallys back and does connect and rally like those or what the Braves have done. Hey congrats to that team for adjusting and doing better on making contact. Have a great day and I hope you have a better understanding because in football any given day the worse team in the league can beat the best. All bout heart, dedication and the drive to keep battling and not give up. Let's Go Dolphins (NFL) and Braves(MLB)

@heat_death711 ай бұрын
if a pitcher allows any amount of runs without getting an out, his era would be undefined as the era formula is 9 x (ER/IP) and that scenario would require dividing by zero

you don’t calculate their ERA at that point, *they* calculate how much you’ll owe them at the first window
