I like bound sword/bound bow. When you get to the point that draugr can knock your weapon out of your hand it gets annoying to find them over and over again. I once spent like half an hour trying to find that one massive hammer with the eye because someone's resurrected grandpa launched it across the room. No more. Also Candlelight is the greatest spell. I don't use lighting mods but I did need glasses for a long time before I got them. Candlelight is the only way I could actually see in Skyrim.

Most Vault tec employees and scientists are high on mentats and are deludedly focused on perfecting all the tech and societal rules for long-term space travel. They care neither about the world and its fallout nor the people being killed for their advancements.

We don't know that Vault-Tec caused the apocalypse, just that they considered it an option on the table. We won't know if they actually did it until we see them do so. For all we know someone beat them to the punch (we might be why House mentions that he miscalculated when the bombs would start dropping in New Vegas)
