I looked at those tires, but the weight of the tire was more than i wanted to add so I went with the duratrac 33s. I went with a 2inch level kit from truxxx it came with a front 2 inch and a back 1 inch I put the front on and the truck was level with in 1/16 so I didn't put the 1 inch on the back. most people do not look at the tire weight but i just a few lbs makes a big difference on your fuel milage and power

Did you have to trim anything in your truck?
@jeffreyjohnston6843
@jeffreyjohnston6843 Жыл бұрын
@@Punisher-1 I did not trim. what I did was pull back the liner because it will melt then i took a heat gun and heated the plastic pieces and bent them back. There was one piece of metal I bent back. at the bottom of the plastic trim, I made a v cut then took a sodering iron and heated up the v cut peace and melted it together. The v cut is kind of under the bottom, so you don't see it. if you look at my truck it looks factory but i gave it about 1 inch more clearance. where that metal peace sticks out, I cut the metal at a angle then primed and painted the cut edge. then melted the plastic back so it doesn't look hacked up. If I knew how to do vids, I would show it. I don't want my truck looking hacked up like most fender trimming does, and I don't like that kit you can get with the metal pieces because that still makes it look like it was changed. if you use a heat gun, make sure you have a way to form the plastic you can't use your hands because you can get burned. I made some metal piece to form it ahead of time.

How’s the charging of your trailer batteries going? Generally when your running multiple batteries, you want to be drawing from the positive on the first battery and the negative from the last battery. This ensures that all the batteries are being utilised. I don’t see how you can achieve that? I would be moving the bcdc1250d to the trailer and putting a 1225d in the suv

Thanks for sharing. I need your help, I have REDARC BCDC 1225D and also have a Shunt. According to REDARC, it suggests that the ground should be connected to car chassis. Whereas the shunt (any shunt) requires that the battery ground connects to one end and all other devices grounds connect to other end. How to resolve this? Can I connect REDARC ground to one end of the shunt and get correct reading?

Odd to see both spacer and spring together. How is the angle on the cv? Diff drop?? What height is the front fender? I'm 38.5 with springs, zeon 12-s hidden winch, small trim for 33's. need to trim the rear just take off the one plastic part at the front of the rear well. I'm doing OME rear springs and shock relocation this week on the rear, hope to smooth out the ride, I carry about 4-500 in a drawer system and totes. Timbren off road bump stops, you can remove the front sway bar and not notice any change in hiway handling, much improved off raod.
