In the dispensation of the grace of God, God’s policy of salvation is by grace through faith not of works (Eph 2:8-9). Satan’s policy is to preach salvation by works in order to minimize the cross of Christ and to condemn man’s soul (2 Cor 4:3-4).

❤ Mark 16:16 “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” John 3:5 “Jesus answered, 'I tell you the truth, unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

"Born of water" is not referring to baptism. It is referring to natural birth, you were born in a water sack. The context is clear here is juxtaposing the physical and spiritual

First of all love what you are doing over here sir. God is doing a good thing with you. I grew up with the KJV and NKJV, but recently I have tried the Geneva Bible, it’s the version our founding father used and it’s one of the translation closest to the original texts so if your ever feeling adventurous Geneva is a good translation. I personally been loving it more. God bless!

There's 3 main passages that connect baptism to salvation and forgiveness of sin Mark 16:16, Act 2:38, and Acts 22:16. The explanation of "for" in Acts 2:38 makes sense in English, but not in Spanish which is my native tongue, the word used in Spanish is "so you may receive" or "unto" which is why I always had trouble with this explanation since in Spanish it's very clear and no room to be understood as "because of". Then there's the other two passages. It's true salvation is due to what Christ did and if he would not have lived, died, and resurrected then it would just be getting wet. So my next question is Do I need to confess Christ's name to be saved?

Just trying to seek understanding here - would it be an accurate understanding of James to say that what he’s talking about is that those who have truly repented of their sin and are now pursuing God through Christ - that their lives will naturally begin to reflect Christ. Not a perfect reflection but a reflection nonetheless as we slowly, imperfectly seek to unlearn our sin and learn how to live in humble submission to God’s design. That if our faith is real we cannot move on unchanged? Again not perfectly but consistently pursuing perfect obedience. Is that accurate?

Interpreting the Bible is incredible difficult. There are scriptural misquotes of the OT in the NT and conceptual inconsistances like the role of satan and God creating evil in Isaiah 45:7. I gave up trying to understand it and just try to live the best I can.

I largely agree with this point, however I am hesitant to agree that we can choose God. Sure we can choose evil, and we do it all the time. (as Paul says in Romans chapter 7) This choice to continue to do evil is OUR choice and as a result of OUR choice we are damned. However, our coming to faith is not our choice, it is Gods choice and Gods work, not ours. Paul says as much in Romans chapter nine. Verse 19 says, ”So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.” (ESV) This tells me Gods mercy is not a result of our works or will, but is solely brought about by Gods work through the Holy Spirit to bring us to faith. This understanding has given me a lot of comfort, because I don’t have to worry that I don’t “believe” enough, or didn’t pray well enough, because my faith is assured by God. I can do nothing but stumble in this life, but God does not stumble, he is always constantly working to bring all of his children to faith. Unfortunately some of his children work very hard to stay away from him, and because he gave us free will he cannot stop our leaving him.

I just imagine we're all going insane without ever figuring out that this is heaven and it's our own, God made world to express love and we are just continuing construction and destruction and it's like this is a death loop because of the super giants manipulating and pushing everything to further speeds and gains. It will not shut down that's all folks. They're in control of the loop de loop..

Romans 4:4-5 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. This is only one verse of the many that show faith alone for salvation. Rightly dividing the word means you separate Salvation from your walk. Salvation = Trusting Christs work alone. After Salvation we are to be a people zealous of good works not for salvation but simply to return the love .The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. . The giver purchased the gift on Calvary. If you add works to it it is no longer a gift. He that hath the son hath life and he that hath not the son hath not life .The subject of faith in James 2 is not saving faith it is your walk of faith and the context is profitability. If you add works to the finished work of Christ You are not fully trusting Christ and might not even be saved. Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of WORKS, lest any man should boast.

See Dewayne I think it's important to see and understand the perspective and thinking of everyone because people aren't immediately bad and wrong just because they see things differently or because they just don't know the truth and are confused. I think nowadays that's a problem with so many people that we immediately discard people and have no understanding for them and their perspective ON EACH SIDE, that's why we're so divided. I made the mistake myself on the previous video of yours (I think on a different account) where I was trying to question your view only to make sure you're really right since I'm so confused and lost and struggle deciding what is right and wrong to do and to follow in life. But the way I said it kinda came over like a personal attack which wasn't my intention at all. I just wanted to question the view even though I pretty much agree with 99% of the view you have. I support having guns and people doing what they want like smoking cigars. I was just questioning if you couldn't also argue the same for the other side like that it is also okay for people to watch Disney then because you could maybe argue it's similar to smoking cigars. I hope you understand my thinking. I'm just concerned to not do the right thing and oversee some important aspect in life. But my tone set off a very hurtful response from your side even though you're probably right but it only made me feel even worse about myself since you're a very intelligent man and I admired you.

I am simply answering you, and not seeking any conflict. I want you to understand that outfront. Sometimes it is not important to see and understand the perspective and thinking of everyone. Sometimes it is important to simply put out the truth and let people do with it what they will. One of the major problems that we have in our society today is that people tend to think that their opinion and their feelings have preeminence over simple truth. As for your comment on a previous video, you have to understand that when you comment to me, I am just one person. and all you are having to deal with is one person. But on the other side of this keyboard, you are just one of many who it sounds like our questioning what I am saying, and they want me to see their side of things, and want me to hold that their side of things is important. I think if you will consider and meditate on this, you will begin to see my side of things and to understand that this is impossible for me. All sides cannot be right, because many of those sides are diametrically opposed. In many things, there is a right and there is a wrong. and I am not going to say that if you’re in a position of disagreement with my position, your position is right. To compare the pedophilia and subtle attacks against God of the Disney corporation to someone smoking a cigar is disingenuous. And so I answered it sharply, because sometimes sharpness is all that will wake up a person to the dangers of their viewpoint. I have no personal conflict with you, I do not even know you. But I am much more interested in the clarity of your mind than in the soothing of your heart.

@@TackRoomBibleTalk Thanks for your reply. I wasn't trying to compare pedophilia and attacks against God to smoking cigars. In fact I didn't know that Disney was doing these things. Obviously I strongly despise such acts. I've just seen it that way that watching some Disney movies or movies in general here and there for enjoyment could be similarly toxic to smoking cigars. But I will investigate more into Disney now, cause if those other things are true it is obviously not okay to support it in any way.

There are some things people will preach of the Bible that straight up confuses me. Like some people get it in their heads that you can only say Jesus' name one way, some swear up and down that it's Jesus, some say it's Yeshua, and they mean the same thing but they swear that if you don't get the name right that He will not answer or you will go to hell. I've also come across people who swear that Christians must eat kosher and the vision Peter was given about animals was only about associating with gentiles. I'd like to know more about these topics, because it's a stumbling block to me.

Dear Dewayne, if you haven't already: could you please consider making a video on how to escape the devil? I'm young but am fighting for years to escape toxic behavior with media consumption and consumerism to the point where I'm not actively participating in life and am solely controled by impulses. The temptation and fear of missing out, not having the best possible thing and the hunger of wanting more is just too strong and it seems impossible to escape (it's basically like chasing a phantasy world that doesn't exist since life seems too hard and I'm missing the courage to tackle it). I think a lot of young people currently struggle with this. It's like an identity crisis of not knowing what is good and bad in a confusing world that is designed to make you addicted at any cost and being too sensitive and unable to confidently navigate the world because of lack of self-worth, too much insecurities and being too dependent on external factors. I'm very afraid that I have to go to hell for this. How can we be tougher and tackle the hard things in life after our parents made us so soft and insecure? Any wisdom on this would be much appreciated.🙏🏼
