I did all that with my dad at that same age, 7yo.. apparently I was just a well behaved, creative and with similar imagination.. Now, with Grandies, @similar ages - I look forward to taking them out and doing camping/ fishing trips.. thanks Luke for your terrific video.. 👌

@@Lukeslittletribe Malaysia. Both peninsula and Borneo. There's good diving and fishing to be had, particularly in the more remote parts. Somewhere to start would be pulau sibu (or any of the islands around that area) or the islands off semporna. I've travelled around most of the countries in that part of the world, and they're all amazing places. But it's good to be back in Australia now all the same.

Nice one Luke . We use to take our kids out of school for a week or two twice a year and go on camping bushwalking road trips . They learnt so many skills and all we could teach them about the Flora, Fawna, Geology, Science, History we came across on our journey also ,bushcraft and survival skills . They learnt way more and varied things than they would have learnt at school , I guess it helps that I was an outdoor guide and educator and my wife is a teacher so they were in good hands :) I love that lookout we saw the sunset from there in a durin a sunshower with the closest most vivid rainbow any of us have ever seen . We still 15 ish years later talk about that view.

I was watching the start of this video seeing the young lads having a bit of an explore and adventure outdoors together and I am probably not alone in saying, that jogged a few memories of when we are all young boys doing the same thing. They were great days and great memories, its no wonder we still do it when we are a lot older. Great video as always Luke. Its good to teach the lads that you don't catch a fish every time you come fishing but its the having a go that builds the memories.

Ah! Bless you pal. They remind me of my kids who are also mixed heritage; their mum is from Mozambique 🇲🇿, I’m from the UK 🇬🇧. The first time their mum saw snow, she ran outside excited and she tried to catch the snowflakes on her tongue 👅! That was back in the winter of 2000. The trouble is that it rarely ever snows here now, unless you get to about 3,000 feet (914 metres.) and there aren’t many places like that here, unless you’re in Scotland. Hey, I noticed their mum wasn’t there. Was it too cold for her? 😂😂😂 I hope that the kids weren’t put off by the cold and go back to the high country in this coming winter. They’ll get used to it eventually. Finally, teach. Your kids some history. Show them the RUFWC Final from 2003 … let them know how Johnny Wilkinson hit that winning drop goal in injury time … 😂😂😂 I’m only messin’ witcha! Have a good one fella. Thanks for a great video! 👍

Thanks so much for watching and commenting. It really is a wonderful thing seeing people experience snow for the first time, especially if they are from a country that never gets it.
