It's sad that our society has turned into what it has, it's extremely hard to find a dealership work together well as a whole!! I'm looking at getting a 2024 & doing my research right now, I hate to say it, but I think I'm glad they are still made in Japan. I'm a small business owner & work my butt off doing construction work, so I understand the difficulty of getting a good team to deliver a excellent product. If your heart isn't into it & your just focused on money, the customer u work for is probably not gonna be happy, especially when we are paying so much for things these days, u expect your product & service to be excellent!!! There are some places that still deliver, but few & far between nowadays. Hell, look at our government!!😢

the head lights are so doll no body will see you at night change them and the antenna and maybe a set of tires as well

run all of the bolts down slowly if you use an impact or better yet unless you have not done it before run them down with a ratchet and socket follow up with a torque wrench there is a tightening sequence

oil pan bolts torque spec 24nm 0r 17 ft lbs

so glad you broke out the impact you will be there all day with a ratchet and socket I almost fell asleep lol

ditch the wd 40 its, not a pent fluid its a water displacement fluid buy some blaster or liquid wrench with all the rust sometimes you need fire [heat] spray the area a few days before the job i live and work as a tech in ny we deal with the worst rust. i have been working on the focus now since 2004

I am a focus tech and I saw a lot of things that need correcting for one lets start with safety your hair do not let it hang down like that when removing the pully and installing the pully use the correct tool this was not done the correct way always chock the rear wheels when on ramps change all of the orings and any gaskets i own a 03 focus ztw 2,3 its the wagon model when unbolting the pump from the veh use line wrenches if you have them they can round off due to rust i live in ny we put the r in rust dont use wd 40 as a pent fluid its a water displacement fluid not a pent fluid use blaster or kroil liquid wrench is really good as well

Terrible video... can't see anything... don't discuss sizes of sockets or show where they're at.... didn't see the sensor repair... but I did learn the SPF sunscreen used. Wasted time.

WTF! You saved for years to spend high 50÷ grand on a 4runner trd pro. Just to put a shitty wrap on it. I wouldn't wrap a fucking a Toyota Corolla.

If there's anything I've learned, just leave vehicles stock and don't do upgrades that are not practical. Sorry you had such a bad experience with all that.

I dont understand how she got that 4th mounting bolt out without removing the pressure line. Stupid line mounts directly in front of the last mounting bolt. I've been at this for hours, i can't get a wrench on the line because the space is too tight, and i can't get the mounting bolt out because the line is directly in the way. This is why I'm not a mechanic.

Have I got this right? This is more an issue with the PDI than the 4Runner itself?

Play with a brand new vehicle and stuff like this happens. Never understood why people spend so much money just to mess their vehicles up with bs alterations. Contrary to what some will say, vehicles are an investment and need to be treated that way. I wish you luck in getting it fixed back to factory.

Midnight black metallic is an insanely beautiful color with the blue hue in sunlight , you cover a masterpiece color with a 5K wrapping ???... SACRILEGIOUS !!!

It's a disaster when they must remove doors to perform the wrapping. Why would you want to wrap a brand-new Runner? You guys probably must have spent close to 100k for it, and it is so messed up 😢.

They should give back 50% of your money for the wrap job

Great video, have you toyed at the idea of doing a comparison vid with a modded stock intake vs a aftermarket cold air intake? Stumbled onto this video as im trying to be convinced to buy a cold air intake for my legacy but ive modded my stock intake and noticed some improvements

You definitely got got. You need to out this shop. It is unsat. They screwed up and molested a brand new vehicle. I would have been livid. This reason alone is why I would not trust any wrap shop. So unfortunate they have blemished your vehicle experience. I took my 4Runner to an official xpel shop and got my 4Runner fully done in ppf. They don't have to take panels off and most of the pieces are precut. Then I put a ceramic coat over the ppf. I have a limerush Pro and it looks brand new and glossy, washing it every few months is a breeze, no scratches, rock chips or swirls.

The black "TRD Pro Emblem" is also missing on Passenger side B-Pillar. I like the color of the wrap, but the shop should be liable for all the damages. Sorry that you had to go through this. I would take them to a small claims court.

Sorry to hear of all your issues - but great car nonetheless. I picked up a 2023 4-Runner rental TRD Off-road from Seattle for a road trip around British Columbia. Was interested to try the car (the 5th gen 4Runner never made it to the UK!) Despite it being an old design and powertrain, really loved that car - it felt absolutely bullet proof and handled the miles and rough roads perfectly. From what I read, the next gen will be a turbo, 4-cylinder hybrid - no doubt way more fuel efficient and probably quicker, but loads more to go wrong! I’d have the old one in a heartbeat! All best.

Nice color! Sorry they did a poor job. If I ever get a 4Runner, first thing I'd do is install a Magnuson supercharger. Then maybe Borla exhaust. Pricey items, but well worth the coin.
