What is better to choose between Andis and Braun Series 5?
@larrykraus564521 сағат бұрын
Shaves close, but... Misses many hairs with long smooth strokes, requires a scrubbing action with overlapping ~1-2cm strokes. Dry shaving leaks clippings out the bottom as it cuts, use it over the sink, clean it before putting in your travel kit. I miss the built-in trimmer on my Norelco, swapping heads is a nuisance.

As a philips shaver user all my life, i tried braun 9 flagship a couple of years ago for a month. What a mistake. it felt like shavinng with hair clipper and does not fit to shave face hairs, way too aggressive and irritating the skin.
@wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein1958 күн бұрын
I get what you mean. They are definetly a bit more rough on the skin than rotary shavers. Foilshavers tend to get even closer to the skin and that can be irritating. They do provide a bit smoother results but the price they pay for that seems to be the comfort. Thanks for your comment!

@@wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein195 Well it's not that bad actually, it's even impressive how fakely realistic it sounds, but I still could notice it, and this made that tube an instant fail to me. You'll eventually manage to get an AI-voice so good that most won't be able to distinguish it from human voice, but I think Ai will most-likely always sound odd to me. I'm all about 100% human content-creation AND execution. I think Ai is 100% fine when used as tool to solve 0 vs 1 logics, but should preferably never cross the path of creativity, and never dilute the human touch and feel of content creation. You've got an edge among other Ai-leveraged creators however.. You welcome critics, and seem to care. I respect that.

We also think that the AI Voice is better to understand for native english speakers. So the normal one trims better, but the pro makes less noise and got a longer battery life? You realize that the most important part is the trim and shaving. How much did they pay you brother? Oder war das ein erlicher Fehler in der Denkweise
@wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein19518 күн бұрын
They both perform the same while shaving. And there is not THAT big of a difference while working with the attachements. Thats why the Pro won in the end. Though, the Pro didn´t perform quite as well while trimming. It still outperformed the standard Modell if you sum everything up. But you are right of course, the core performance is very important. But we also realize that most people have their own very specific criteria before purchasing a new product and that it´s not only determinded by one factor alone. We bought both OneBlades ourselves and where not sponsored in any way! Wie gesagt, beim trimmen ist der pro bisschen schlechter, ansonsten in fast jedem anderen Punkt besser. Daher ist er auch der Gewinner. Vielleicht bringt das ein bisschen mehr Transparenz in unsere Denkweise.

Choosing a razor can be confusing with so many options out there. However, it's important to note that there isn't one universal 'best' razor that works for everyone. The effectiveness of a razor depends on your personal preferences, skin type, hair thickness, and even your budget. What works for one person might not work as well for another. I'd recommend checking out reviews from different sources and considering what features are most important to you. Ultimately, the best razor is the one that suits your individual needs the most. Happy shaving!

Your suggestion will be really helpful better than purchasing machine and do a trail and fail attempt...
@ElectricRazorRap24 күн бұрын
@@engihabit Thanks for reaching out! I appreciate your kind words about the reviews. However, it's important to note that what works for one person may not work for another, especially when it comes to thick beards. The best razor for you depends on your unique preferences and needs. While I can't recommend a specific razor, I can suggest a few features to look for. For a smooth shave without shaving cream, you might want to consider a rotary or foil shaver with a powerful motor and sharp blades. Philips models like the Series 9000 Prestige or the Series 7000 might be worth checking out. These models often offer a close shave without requiring frequent head changes. Ultimately, the best way to find the right razor is through trial and error. I know it can be frustrating, but experimenting with different razors is the most effective way to discover what works best for your beard type and skin. I wish you the best of luck in finding the perfect razor for your needs! www.electricrazorrap.com

ElectricRazorRap nothing to add to your comment. You´re absolutely right! @engihabit: Generally speaking - we made the experience that the 9pro had the smoothest results. A OneBlade might be even a bit smoother. But since you´re looking for a device without much wear and tear the 9pro would be a good choice. In regards to Philips devices the series 9000 seemed about as good as the series 7 (in terms of the shaving performance) Although Philips is more comfortable on the skin. The Series 7000 was about as good as a Series 3-5 (in Terms of the shaving performance) At least from our point of view. But like ElectricRazorRap said, its difficult to generalize this. I still hope that my comment is somewhat helpful to you!

I agonised over weeks whether to spend the money, but eventually decided that at 70 I could justify it. It was going to be a real beauty! But do you know there was nothing that really set it apart from cheaper Brauns I've been given. I expected a really close shave. But my old Philips with an almost dead battery shaves as close. (But cleaning it IS a hassle!). I gave up on trying to understand the silly little so-called "manual" with its ever-so-confusing diagrams. Ditto for the cleaning device which also comes with no English text instructions. Im going to try to work thst out tonight. Do I have to open it, or peel off the foil? Don't know. Again, nothing in English. Oh, the only thing I was able to learn from this video is that the shaver does charge while its cleaning. I wonder how long it takes. Does it turn off when done? Ive had quite a whinge, but I do expect adequate instructions with a $500 shaver. But I'll finish off with a positive. I have a nice new shaver, and I do enjoy using it.
