Great demonstration. I have read what i believe is every manual for the blheli series. All confusing. I program using an esp32 board instead of a transmitter or app. Your video clearly does what none of the manuals do. Thanks!

@@bulldogg117 hmm fair point, can’t list the amount of times different terminology ends up getting the wrong part. Granted, I work on diesels after leaving the automotive side so fair play I imagine you guys know far more than I on the spark plug side Edit: on my end I’m used to ordering parts under a VIN, so less issues with ordering a part that isn’t even optioned on the vehicle

It's 2024 and I also used Pennzoil Syncromesh in a 2020 GTI. It's perfect! Cheap, and made shifting silky smooth, it was crunchy before! Even on a cold start in the morning, shifting is great. I also took the opportunity to do a shifter adjustment altogether!

Great video, I'm no mechanic but I followed your steps and had no issues whatsoever. You saved me a stack of dough, man, thank you! When I powered on the car afterward though, I do have a couple dash lights showing - the power steering and the skid-correction lights and I'm not sure if the car just needs to run for a while and cycle them out, or what. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much!

Usually just driving a couple feet will turn the lights off. Unless you have MAF sensor and it was not plugged back in.

Since you were replacing the rotor, you don’t need to take out the 13 mm bolts holding the sliders. Save some time and just remove the 21 mm bolts and pull the whole carrier and caliper out at the same time. Once you got the whole assembly off the rotor, the carrier and pins will just slide right out of the caliper for cleaning. The 13 mm bolts only have to be removed if you’re pulling the caliper without disturbing the carrier and rotor.

Thanks a lot ..... but take care if you choose bidirectional, it may be impossible to enter programming mode again or factory reset the ESC... .. I really appreciate it if some one explains to me if this is doable ...
@ericwillis7774 ай бұрын
I see so many problems with these BL Heli ESC's better to ditch them, at least for fixed wing, and go with something cheaper and less complicated. I'm sorry I bought several. Trying to install one now, but every time I move a control surface it plays a tune and then two long beeps. Life is too short to spend time on this.

I just brought my Beetle in to get the fuel filter replaced and they broke the strap that holds it tight now it’s just kinda hanging there. I told them how the lines come off and to be careful not to break them. I brought the oem filter and asked if they could replace because I didn’t want to get gas all over me. It was weird at the end of the job he explained they couldn’t warranty their work cause I brought the filter. Now I know why

Great video, to the point without a bunch of fluff, step by step explanations and not too vain to edit out turning the bolt the wrong way. God camera angles and distance to make viewing easy and understandable. I like your use of both anti-sieze & brake caliper lube on the assembly as well. you bought a loads of goods for many $$ but cheaped for pair of gloves? Secondly don't ever smear the hub under the rotors - it causes micro wobles of the disc. It is never meant to be disassembled once a week so put it clean surface to clean surface - that's it! Why haven't you clean the rotors before use with brake cleaner? Greasy discs don't run well. Props for suspending the caliper and overall good approach.

Got to do this on my MK7 shortly with 72k. Instead of guessing, with a marker, mark a slash on the bolt, and then another 180 degrees on the wheel. That way you can reset the breaker bar to its max leverage point without thinking about the position of the handle. Thought you might have stripped that last triple square. I always clean it and tap in the bit so its fully seated. Turning the steering wheel to the right for more access was a good idea.
