I need help on how to help my 30 yr old son to open up on this subject. he mentioned he remembers something about being abused, it's affecting him so much. I like to learn how to start the conversation so he can feel comfortable opening up.

If you would ever like a guest speaker who has known firsthand the devastation of having one's child become an offender, I would love to help.

I've always felt sex education needed to includer preventative instruction for troubled young people, to let them understand they can speak to someone safely before they become offenders. My son, a loving, brilliant kid, was deeply attached to a girl his age at about 10 yrs old. As he grew older, he stayed attracted to girls of a young age and had difficulty dating but eventually married. I won't go into detail, but he is serving a very long sentence. I would do anything to protect other kids from growing up and ruining their own and others' lives.

kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jMWKadNq0JizfmQ.html is another excellent and informative conversation on the topic of sibling sexual abuse. The Fresh Start panel touches on one of the questions asked during this podcast--what would a parent do if they're a member of a marginalized community that has a difficult history with social service and law enforcement authorities, but they know they can't handle it alone either?

I have full custody of my daughter and a son from a previous relationship. My son who I have vistitation with was caught force kissing his sister who screamed out for me after he did it. I was some ways in the distance so when she screamed for me she didn’t see me but she caught my attention. As I’m looking I see him pull her by her collar back into the tent they were playing in and he tried to do it again. I just can’t take any risk as I am a single father of my little girl and don’t really have a good relationship with my son. Don’t judge me for this but I rather just not deal with him anymore because I will protect my baby girl and take no risk. The ages were 8 (boy) 4(girl). That forceful pull back into the tent just seemed so predatory and had I not caught it who knows what he was pulling her back in that tent to do. I feel bad that me and his relationship has become strained but like I said my daughter is the one under my roof. He is coming up in another home. I just feel like I have to protect those under my roof.

As a parent who did make that terrified call to Stop It Now helpline...1) Thank You to Stop It Now, I'm so glad you were there for us. 2) I started crying with gratitude when the speaker said, "First, let's have compassion for parents in this situation..." That goes so far, to a parent who is already full of fear and shame and expecting condemnation.

How can we ask a serious question about a child’s behavior without it being flagged. KZfaq - ur community guidelines are a hindrance and a joke. I see 10 times worse every day. Stop using AI

I would like feedback from anyone that sees this. Here’s the scenario. Father has been alienated except for a 2 hr visit every 2-4 months with daughter (5). Very close and loving despite this. Father is fighting to get a judgement overturned to get custody. On last visit, they were playing with toys and reading books and the 5 yr old grabbed the father in the crotch saying tickle tickle. Within a few seconds she asked when she gets to see him naked. Finally, after buckling her in car seat, he said give me a kiss. She always squirmed away. This time she says she wants a kiss on the lips. Can this be anything other than someone is being inappropriate/molesting her?

Approximately 2 years ago i began to suspect sexuall abuse against 2 of my young grandkids by a close family memeber. The person i suspect was making sexually inapropriate comments about one child in particular. He also would give the kids baths on occasion (with door open) he would buy one child candy daily, i( found the candy under his pillow a few times). He always had a kid.in his lap.Was very affectionate kissing and hugging on them almost constantly Always referred to them as his "best friend"He Made several more inappropriate comments over the next fee weeks. So i began to read up on the indicators of sexuall abuse and in doing this i found that both children were exhibiting many signs of physical/behavioral symptoms more behavioral.and emotional issues They were exhibiting 8 -10 symptoms. A few days after he said thos things 2 things happenned that were very innapropriate i. didnt see the act but i might as well of the situation was that innapropriate or unusual ireported all this to DHR as soon

As soo. As possible. I left the home. DHR did not interview any of the children at all. The person i suspect was told to ho take a drug test he refused. My daughter was told to take drug which she did and passed. They actually told my daughter to bring them in to there office but she forgot. They DHRdidnt call or try to reach her and remind her they closed the case

I came forward when I was 27 (I'm now 41). My mother has been a god awful p.o.s. about it. Not only did she not believe me, she went on to spread lies about me for speaking out. I even went to great lengths to obtain evidence including an audio confession from him. Also notable, she hasn't been with him since 1982. He also had a drug addiction, tried to kill her, cheated on her and left her and my sister in 40k worth of debt to "go find himself." If you are reading this and you are leaning towards not believing your child, know that you never deserved that child in the first place and you are causing an enormous amount of further damage on top of the trauma they are already experiencing. What kind of parent chooses not to believe their child then plays the victim? It's just so sickening.

The father of my son, besides being a batterer, a child marriage apologist, confessed in an online group that he has attraction for children and wants to bring them into adulthood and that an 8 year old is no different than a 18 year old. My son is only 4, does not speak and has down syndrome, what do I do?

When we observe actions created by emotion outside of logic we are ALWAYS surprised at the negative reaction because all our brain knows is logic and emotions are generally too complex to comprehend. So get ready for a surprise either way. The biggest surprise to a Historian will be that America survives the emotions of our own greed & hate. Normally that can't happen but time has given us a gift of itself we must not abuse again... or it will be our last mistake we observe in comfort.

And the reaction is undisputable and you don’t need to be much of a mechanic to see why. We now CLEARLY see police breaking the law to make sure they have authority outside the law. And we see some willing to kill without legal or morel provocation as we witness it happen & many deny what their eyes show them... at the same time some openly admit to enjoying it. Of course. Men like sex. So do women. And sex & power go together like a hand in a bloody glove powered by emotion void of true logic.>

nuclear & biological war as emotions overtake America's logic and our police departments degrade daily as sexual assault on women in America's police stations becomes too common while being accepted AND supported by some people pretending to be Americans as the Internet clearly shows. History is a pattern of feelings interacting with time and shows what the support of police demanding blind authority in need of a paycheck from above causes to happen.>

than the World's most prestigious research center for Nuclear Research as they tripped over the answer they seek and are now hiding after being given the answer: E=m+{a}c2. You don't need to be a scientist to understand what that means if true and CERN proved that it is true. To not understand the function of the neutrino is like a car mechanic who does understand the function of the driveshaft spinning around to make the wheels turn. Looks like you could use a good comment from the 100th viewer. To protect children that are at extreme risk of history repeating itself & suffering a horrific fate never seen before in the history of man then use the asymmetry of the weak force to your advantage That is what caused CERN in Sept of 2011 to announce neutrinos @ v-c/c=2.48e-5 in 453.6 miles & claim Albert Einstein appeared to be wrong because the speed of light was exceeded violating SR sounding more like a blind child >
