What if awareness is also regenerating with the body and the mind? I’m not in any way trying to negate your perspective. I also try to align with the same perspective because nothing else makes sense, but I do still have questions. Thank you for sharing. ❤
@sajafendel
@sajafendel 2 күн бұрын
Yeah you’re right, what if awareness is generated by the body and mind? If it was, awareness would have to be an illusion. In other words, awareness would have to be false, unreal, and therefore awareness would not exist at all. But actually, contrary to that, we know for absolutely certainty that awareness does exist, because it is self evident. If something exists, it has to be real. Awareness can not be proven nonexistent, because it would take something aware of that non existent reality to render it nonexistent, and that would be awareness itself. Therefore awareness is real, existent, and true. So, for it to be dependent on the body and mind, the body and mind would have to have its own ultimate existence that is somehow greater than awareness. But when we check in our experience, the body and mind are completely fleeting. They arise as a sensation and perception. Consciousness however, is ever present, and never stops, starts, or ends. The body and mind consistently start or end. So the question that plagued my mind was, how on earth could it be possible for something that I know is always present, infinitely consistent, be created by something that I know is completely limited and intermittent? That which starts and end is non existent and has to be contained within a greater, truer, ultimate reality. Put these things side by side and ask yourself how something fundamentally non existent (meaning that it doesn’t have its own existence, such as last nights dream, or a passing thought) Create that which we know is absolutely and fundamentally real? It’s not possible. At all. Consciousness is fundamental, and the substratum for all experience to take place, that includes the entire experience of the body and the world. For more, be sure to join my free community, this is what it’s there for 💚 Thanks for the honest and polite comment, I’m glad to help in anyway I can in your exploration 🙏

Can you elaborate on the assumption that consciousness is not situated in the body/brain/material? Obviously with damaging brain material a decrease in understood consciousness can occur. I'd guess that you would counter this and say that the individual consciousness that we experience is already a reduction of the 'expanded consciousness' which humans can experience under certain spiritual experiences; though it does not really provide an explaination for the further reduction of an individual consciousness experience in the event of brain damage - which ofcourse can be measured and is therefor a proven fact.
@sajafendel
@sajafendel 2 күн бұрын
Yes absolutely, but what will make it easier for you to understand is if you can elaborate on why it’s an assumption? We have to first see how I define consciousness. Consciousness is simply the knowing or aware aspect of experience. The mind is that which consciousness perceives. Therefore the brain is also that which consciousness perceives and is what we could call a localisation of the mind. When the brain gets damaged, that says nothing about the knowing aspect of experience. So I agree it’s proven that the brain being damaged can effect our state of mind, but it does not change the pure knowing aspect of experience. Pure knowing is not a function or appearance or object of the mind. It stands outside the mind. We know this experientially by checking if there is any thought, image or perception required in order to know that I am aware? We find there is one. So with that being said, what is the question you’d like to ask? I see no problem here with what you’ve said really. I would add, There’s no “degree” of understood consciousness. There is simply knowing. Awareness. Even if we don’t know what we are aware of because of brain damage, we are, and can never not be aware. Even if we were to be knocked out by anestesia, we don’t actually experience the cessation of awareness. We experience the cessation of the mind. Because the mind disappears it doesn’t mean consciousness disappears. We assume we are aware “because I experience a world” on the contrary this is an assumption. We are aware because we are awareness and awareness, by nature, knows itself without the need of any objective knowledge or mind. This is a huge recognition. It’s the first signal that maybe consciousness is not located in the brain. Then when we go deeper in that direction, we find that it’s not. I can’t convince, nor do I care to convince, anyone in the comments, but I do like this question. I’ve build a community to help answer this question. There’s a great book on this called “the nature of consciousness” by Rupert Spira. He talks of his direct experience of pure awareness. I’ll make a video on this specifically on my own experience in future because I get asked this question a lot (and rightly so) it is the core and fundamental question for true and ultimate happiness. So I’m glad you asked.

..there is no in, within, and without. Form is the formless aspect of that which can be labelled as the conscious present moment. The formless aspect. Bubbles in a bath sponge, the hole that pushes humans to the world of the senses. Null. Void. Blank. This is why everything comes from a hole, because it is not. There is no gap between objects because there are no objects. Spacetime is not there. It is I that is not. There is also no empty space. That would imply a within and a without. There is only I am. All appears to I, because it be the formless aspect of I am, which itself is I am. I that is aware. I am that I am. I am. Now, here is the interesting fiction - Consciousness is a language. As form is a language. The Language of Consciousness is the true language of I. The artifact is the language of form. Form exists so I can appear to grow. But in truth, I am complete because I am (now). The Language of Consciousness is now, as is the language of form. Why am I aware of THIS? Because THIS is. Why is THIS? Because I am. There is no cause and effect - causation. All be now. So why do "we" not experience the manifestation of form in this way? Because that is how we experience we. It is I that experiences I as now and it is also I that experiences we! It is not a two way street. That would imply dualism. So how does time appear to unfold in one way? Why am I aware of THIS... The illusion appears to flow/move in every way. But in truth, there is no position nor is there any opposition of I am. I am neither beginning nor am I ending. I am neither more than, nor am I less than. I am neither knowing nor am I unknowing. I am that I am. I am.

I think I know what you're TRYING to say here. I think it stems from Buddhist philosophy and whatnot. I've heard it explained well before, but you're honestly just not explaining it very well. Try to use examples and maybe quote the people you're referencing so you can convey your message better. Because right now, it comes off as "the secret to ending your suffering is to suck it up, don't worry about it, do nothing, etc." Which i assume isn't you're intention. I would normally troll in the comments section, but it looks like you're just trying to get this channel off the ground, so good luck. Just some honest feedback.

Thanks man. This isn’t what I’m referring too though. Infact it’s not even close. Thanks for the feedback though. I understand how it could easily be misunderstood. This message is for a particular audience. This is only in reference to those who have recognised their true nature. Who know they are the inherent freedom they seek. Only then does this make sense. I’ll make that more clear in future videos. I know that 90% of people that see this though will understand the level in which it is spoken.

❤❤🙏 How do we come to the conclusion that no desire fullfillment can lead to happiness in this existence ? What do you think we are doing here on Planet between birth to death process ?
@sajafendel
@sajafendel 9 күн бұрын
You have to recognise that the experience of happiness is not a quality inherent in any experience at all. Therefore no experience can bring about happiness. Therefore true happiness can not be found in the fulfillment of any desire because a desire fulfilled is an experience, therefore is conditional, has limitation, and will perpetuate resistance and suffering in the belief that we need to strive towards another experience to achieve the same feeling of happiness. And honestly I think we’re here to have fun. I don’t believe there is a reason for anything other than existence is beautiful and it just is. Anything else is an add on. A concept made of limitation. Like a termite asking why it eats wood. The question is redundant. There is only pure infinite beingness. It stands outside the realm of time and space. Therefore it stands behind and is greater than any reason or cause because all reason and cause exist in time and space. Time and space do not exist. Therefore any question as to why or how or what we’re doing will always be only relative to the limited effect that can not speak of a cause because it did not create it.

@sajafendel
@sajafendel 15 күн бұрын
@@Vgallo gotcha. sorry man. I get a lot of people commenting BS who wants mindless debates. It’s hard to distinguish serious enquiry vs trolls. In regards to your question, firstly: 1. I realised that I am the leading authority on anything true for my experience. 2. That in order to know the truth about anything I must first understand the tool with which I explore it (my mind) 3. That in order to know if something is true, it can’t just be true for me, I has ti be true from all potential points of view regardless of who or what is observing. 4. I then explored my own direct experience to see what is true. I found two things. 1. That there is existence, even if I don’t know what it is, I know that it is. 2. I know that I exist. I don’t know what I am but I know that I am. 5. I made it very clear to establish what consists and sustains all experience. Short answer, consciousness. 6. I realised that I am fundamentally consciousness. Above all else, consciousness is the fundamental quality to which I can not be reduced. 7. I sought to recognise if this consciousness was limited. Does it really exist inside the body and mind? Or does it create the body and mind? 8. I stayed open to the possibility that either could be true. I didn’t know. 9. I realised that after vigorously exploring, there consciousness does not have a limit or an edge or a boarder and can not be contained. I realised it was unlimited. 10. I tested that against the facts if my experience and tried to find the “existenceness” of objects. I found that all objects can be reduced to qualities only inherent in the mind. In other words, that all objects are merely made of the perception of them. That all objects that seem to be separate and outside of ourselves are actually made of mind, and mind is made of consciousness. This confirmed everything. Not doubt in my mind. 11. This experience was pure happiness. Pure unconditional knowing of the absolute. Nothing else to search for. Nothing to gain. Just full acceptance for reality to take place as it is. So the last and final step is realising that pure consciousness is happiness itself. (Check “I found unconditional happiness so you can just copy me” on my main page for more) This was more or less the investigation on an intellectual level. I’m not religious. I’m not spiritual even though I’ve had a spiritual path. I like to be skeptical. Rational. Based on logic. If anything I’m scientific. I base it on the facts of experience and make no assumptions. And I expect nothing less from anyone who listens to me. This is the point I’m trying to make. That we should be the authority of our own direct experience on not fuss around with ethereal ideas or philosophical theory. I care none for mind tricks and practices or a mindset. The approach for me is simple. Recognise the absolute source of happiness itself and everything falls into place effortlessly. Hope this answers your question brother. I have few videos on this because I typically make videos that are targeting those who are already on this path or who have to some degree already recognised this and help them integrate it. I will look to make more videos on this soon :)
