Not necessarily. That’s if you use Fleming hand rule. But I’m not. I’m using palm rule. See my video on hand rules kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fdOFhcl4mNqlmJs.htmlsi=uiZ_edD2vfwZP4Vg

I have discovered that Faraday's law of induction is unintentional disinformation. In the case of a static magnetic field, if a circuit linked by the field expands, thereby increasing the flux linking the circuit, Faraday's law states that the changing flux produces an emf in the circuit. This is false; the changing flux linkage has no effect. There is an emf in the circuit of the same value as predicted by Faraday's law. It is motional emf due to the motion of the conductor of the circuit through the magntic field. Thus, Faraday's law is false. There are also exceptions to Faraday's law, as pointed out in The Feynman Lectures on Physics. Faraday's law is just math, not physics. It is a case of correlation, not causation. Faraday's law encompasses the Maxwell-Faraday law, which is one of Maxwell's equations. That part is true. That is why Faraday's law is like disinformation. It is partially true and partially false.

Thank you for your beautiful explanations. How is it that Kepler was correct in his calculations despite his belief 18:39 that the earth is the centre of the planetary system when the sun is. Ramzi

Planck's approach was to analyze the entropy of blackbody radiation as a function of energy. To make both high-frequency and low-frequency data consistent with the Second Law of Thermodynamics, he included an additional "guess" term proportional to the frequency (hf); this results in Planck's Law. Planck's application of Boltzmann's Statistical Mechanics to justify his guess then led to his revolutionary conclusion that the material of the walls emit and absorb radiation in discrete quanta. A paper titled "Planck’s Route to the Black Body Radiation Formula and Quantization" by Michael Fowler (7/25/08) gives a nice discussion.

Fact: over a 15-year period (of 5495 days) Mars returns facing a given star in this curious sequence of time intervals: 707 + 707 + 707 +707 + 707 +707+ 707 + 546 days. As expounded and illustrated in Chapter 5 of my new TYCHOS book (2nd Edition / Dec 2023), this means that the geoheliocentric model devised by Tycho Brahe is the only possible configuration of our Solar System. This, because the 'odd behavior' of Mars - what with its "short Empiric Sidereal Interval" of only 546 days is - perfectly accounted for in Brahe's model. It is now high time to realize this undeniable fact - and to expose Kepler's fraudulent ways in his vain quest to validate heliocentrism (as already discovered and denounced by Prof. W.H. Donahue - the American translator of Kepler's "Astronomia Nova" - back in 1988).

how do we dare feign to accurately assign colors to wavelengths within the "visible spectrum" we can't directly perceive??? 10:20 is there some inference or extrapolation or Fourier transform of sorts to prove our assignment is remotely correct? is it proven by wave interference theory?
@h7opolo
@h7opolo 6 күн бұрын
5:59 gross concept error: our eyes are limited to activation by only three different wavelength intensities, i.e. red, blue, and green. the "visible" spectrum is just a trick, and we don't actually know which color corresponds to various wavelengths. we painted a false picture on a black and white mystery, until chemical sensors, aka photographic film, was made. even then, the colored rays corresponding to pure orange, yellow, purple, etc. will only appear as grey tones on the film.

For q17, you can alternatively find it with the right hand palm rule. Since the conductor has current in QR, with right hand grip rule, magnetic field lines are directed to the right above QR. As the cathode ray move into the page, then it is experiencing a force upwards due to right hand palm rule. (Note that electron is opposite to positive charge) As resistance increases, force decreases and thus moves toward Z.

since the metals dees have an opening (otherwise how would the protons enter?), doesn't that mean electric field can be inside the dees? metals will block electric fields if they are a closed surface but here the metal dees are open

guys will it work if use a metal plate instead of a heat sink??
@PhysicsHigh
@PhysicsHigh 17 күн бұрын
The purpose of the heat sink with the gel is to slow the rate of heating. Other words you wanted to stay well below 0°C for sometime. If you simply have a metal plate out of the freezer it will warm up quite quickly and therefore be effective in terms of keeping the temperature gradient to saturate the air with alcohol.
